Church Mistreats Homeless Man Unaware It's Their Pastor In Disguise...
Pastor Jeremiah Steepek transformed himself into a homeless person and went to the 10,000 member church that he was to be introduced as the head pastor at that morning.
At a 10,000 member church, Pastor Jeremiah Steepek, who was to be introduced as the new lead pastor, decided he would transform himself as a homeless person.
He walked around the church grounds for about 30 minutes prior to service, and out of the 10,000 in attendance, only three greeted him with a friendly hello.
He asked for food, but no one gave him any.
He then walked into the sanctuary only to be asked by the ushers if he would kindly sit himself in the back row away from other congregates.
As he greeted people, he was given dirty stares and looks, and judgments on so many levels. But when all that was done, the elders went up and were eager to introduce the new pastor of the church to the congregation.
“We would like to introduce to you Pastor Jeremiah Steepek.” The congregation looked around clapping with anticipation.
Suddenly the homeless man stood up, walked down the aisle, and the clapping ceased, all eyes were on him.
Jeremiah then took the microphone from the elders (who were in on this) and paused for a moment then he recited,
“Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.
“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
“Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
‘The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’
He then looked at the congregation and told them everything. Many began to cry and other bowed their heads in disgrace.
In his last closing statement he said, “Today I see a gathering of people, not a church of Jesus Christ. The world has enough people, but not enough disciples. When will YOU decide to become disciples?”
He then dismissed service until next week.
Following Jesus is not just about ‘talking the talk’ it’s about LIVING what you believe. It is a lifestyle that you must choose to live and walk in.
There are claims going around that this story is not true. It may not be, but even if it’s not true, the importance of the message still stands.

Church has been a place for showing off new hats for years now.
Only 3 out of 10,000 “Christian” people said hello to him or acknowledged him.

Brilliant man for exposing the utter hypocrisy of those liars that masquerade as “Christians,” about 9997 out of 10000.
When I am asked for food from a homeless person, I usually will offer to buy him some (and do) if around a store or restaurant…and I am not a Christian. There are many that really are hungry and not wanting just money. This is the test. I always offer them food and if they refuse and only want money I usually repeat the offer. Only a few have ever refused me.
Shame on you hypocrite religious fakes!
Great maneuver! This pastor is determined to make people UNDERSTAND Jesus, instead of them just singing His name´s praise without real interest in His Gospel.
Jesus knows us by heart. Thus, Non-Christians following the Golden Rule will be invited to God´s Kingdom and so-called Christians who “go to Church to show their new hats” will stay outside.
When I was a teenie I was in disgrace among many of my age group, for being fat, poor, sternly disinterested in all kinds of fashion or “coolness games”, a genius at school (negative envy really is the worst of all sins, ugh!) and a staunch and old- fashioned Catholic.
What a combination. Today I think I´m lucky to have survived childhood at all, under such circumstances.
So, sometimes when I had gone to Mass by bicycle, I found the vehicle, after Services, right outside Churchyard, with the air having been let out of the tyres and the ventiles stolen.
The same kids who had attended Mass, it seemed, had given me these attacks, right after Mass, or even before its beginning.
As if they had never heard of Golden Rule.
I never did such things to my enemies at school. Because I DID know this teaching of Christ.
And when I wept aloud about the assault, and about their ignorance, as I used to do
(besides, what´s wrong with crying, folks? Youd better be honest enough to weep at the things that hurt you, instead of playing the joker or putting on a poker face, as it is preferred today… tears are holy, jokes are not!)
I even had to experience people coming out of Mass who reproached me for being too loud instead of showing some pity or understanding.
We revere the Bleeding Heart of Jesus to be given compassionate hearts. But where were their hearts, then, folks, tell me that?
Once, however, an elderly man saw the situation, and acted rightly. He took me, and the bike, into his car, and brought “us” home (five kilometers), and called me “poor girl”, and told Mom about the incident, and I even vaguely remember him having given Mom some money. For, we lived on 400 Deutschmarks a month that time, three people, with cats and dog.
And at another time, it was the priest himself who cargo´ed me home, and about him I surely remember that he donated money; although Mom, from former bad experiences with Church, was as staunch as a nonbeliever, as I was as a Christian.
Everyone can decide every day whether he/ she wishes to behave as a Disciple of Christ RIGHT NOW, or not.
Those who do, belong to Christ at this moment, baptised or not, Believers or not, loaded with former sins or not.
This is my version of the Gospel. And it is good.
i have been condemning christians for years of this practice, and its not just a handful. its 90% of you who call yourselves christian. you all have lost the message that christ taught. period dont try and deny it, we know who you are

There is a lot more to it than just accepting Christ into your life as Lord and Savior.

More power to him… that was an inspired test for his first day. All or nothing – hope they don’t fire him…. I have a brother who gave food and clothing to a black family in Alabama from the church stores and was fired for giving them the ‘good stuff’….
This is a great story that exposed phony christians,, Im sending this to our pastor so he can mention this in church,, We are all here to help each other whenever its needed, weather we call ourselves christians or not
