Imagination or reality?
I love it when people use more imaginary capitulation to explain imaginary fantasy as though the new imaginary explanation credits it to be reality. Did that makes sense? I hope not! Because neither does all the mythological hog wash.
I have studied all the “great” religions and have found a commonalty in all of them. Yes…the Jesus myth is heavy with Hindu/Buddhist influence but then they were influenced by the Egyptians who were the originators of the scam. The “story” that Jesus supposedly studied Hindi is simply that…just another story rumor started for some religious reason. (Personally I like Taoism and Vedic writings.)
The selling of the afterlife began in ancient Egypt with toys, trinkets, beetle scarabs for the poor and larger items like boats. The more complete one could afford in producing items and a personal book of the dead (an early buybull) was paramount…all these things were to capitalize on success with the gods in the afterlife, this being an obsession/schizophrenia for the Egyptians. Without these things…you were DOOMED! Are you scared yet?
Today religion is still hocking the afterlife lie scam for power and profit. So basically the Egyptians toiled for the religious leaders just like we do today to help insure our afterlife. Nothing has changed…there is just more BS every year as religions continue to fracture into more cults, 21 major and over 2000 minor now, each claiming/demanding superiority over the other. That makes up a lot of bullshit condescension and war!
The bottom line is all of it…every bit of it is nothing but ancient mystic fantasy and bunko fraud scams for power, profit and control. People have “allowed their imaginations” to control them for thousands of years. Religion continues to sharpen its sword on the necks of the ignorant who are taught to stay as children, stupid and obedient to the church…or die here on earth or in hell for eternity. It is all simply fanatical mythological imaginary belief bullshit.
When one person is delusional we sell him recovery.
When one thousand we sell them into a cult.
When one million we sell them A GREAT RELIGION.
The insanity of humanity will continue until people learn to free themselves from their imagination and superstitious voodoo.

You may know quite a lot about religion, but you do not appear to know anything at all about either archetypal psychology or the structure of human consciousness.
“Imagination” is the very foundation of the consciousness of the “self”, without which you would collapse into psychosis. This is the reality of the situation, even if you have never observed it.
In fact, what the Eastern esoteric traditions and the documents at Nag Hammadi deal with very directly and in detail is the very origin of the image-making function of consciousness and the implications of the Knowledge that originates beyond images of the “self” and thoughts of the ‘thinker’.
The function of the thoughts of the ‘thinker’, by the way–and whether those thoughts are scientific, philosophical or religious–is to PREVENT the consciousness of the “self” from collapsing into psychosis; as specifically referred to by Jesus in the Gospel of Thomas, by the way.
In the Eastern esoteric perspective, J. Krishnamurti touches very BRIEFLY on the function of thought as the origin of conflict and violence; a conclusion which stands irrespective of whether a person believes in a Creator or not.
You have a lot to learn.
But your attitude suggests that the probability of you learning even a PART of that is slim to none.

You have fallen into the “tree of the knowledge of good and evil” dualistic consciousness of the “self”, which defines everything that is “not self” as being a “nut case”.
Forget religion altogether.
It is that fundamental mechanism of CONSCIOUSNESS which is the source of conflict, violence, bloodshed and genocide.
You appear to be obsessed with the religious expression of evil; but you FAIL to understand the mechanisms of consciousness that are the foundation of both religious and secular violence.
