Satanic ritual or not, I didn’t do it because the FB friends/acquaintances of mine who did it are the narcissistic types who post their every thought, meal and life experience like anyone really gives a toss. I didn’t want to sink to their level. I also did a little research and discovered that only about 27% of the funds raised will go to actual research because quote ‘the ALS Foundation didn’t want to put all their eggs in one basket.’ So 27% will go to big pharma to research drugs to ‘treat’ ALS rather than cure it and the rest will likely line the pockets of the executives. My grandfather died of complications relating to ALS so I know a little about it but I still feel that my charity budget is best spent elsewhere.
