The Rapture is NOT a reward. There is true conversion, and false conversion. Matthew 7:21-23 makes this very plain. Those “bridesmaids” had no oil, false converts. The believer is a purchased possession.

Acts 20:28 Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.

Ephesians 1:14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

1 Corinthians 6:19-20 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own? For ye are bought with a price: therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s.

The truly converted/saved are: purchased, sealed, justified, glorified, sanctified, perfected forever, shall not come into condemnation, and is given eternal life. The Good Shepherd will bring His flock home before destroying the wolves.

and this is the great mental game that JWs play. it helps them keep their group cohesion. it’s “us vs. them.” THEY are the holy and sanctified of God, doing His will. the REST of us are the soiled and unwashed masses, who delight in evil. THEY=good, WE=bad. it also helps them grow tighter together with each door that gets slammed in their faces, because they get a sense of having suffered together. you took it upon yourself to insult and psychoanalyze me, so don’t complain now that if put you and your cult on the couch.

hey, look, MikeSavage – i asked where Scripture tells us to follow an ORGANIZATION. can you AT LEAST give me the Scripture reference for THAT???? you guys are fond of saying that the word “Trinity” is not in the Bible, so i am asking the VERY FAIR QUESTION….
