My belief is that nature can’t come from nothing because the latter does not exist just like square circles don’t exist so they can’t cause anything either. Besides, we only have evidence of causation in nature from something, no hard evidence of something from nothing let alone non-existence.

Well One thing I do agree, is that something cannot come from nothing, which is why I don’t agree with the big bang theory which was actually thought up by a catholic scientist.

Which I personally think it was part of the Christian religious institution to try and persuade people to place “god” at the ignition point of the big bang theory.

I think differently, that the universe always existed, and a component makes up a larger reality, together with neighbouring universes, depending on what you wish to define and categorise as a universe, since there is no distinct boundary and everything overlaps each other, and of this forms a fractal of existence, which I would call the infinite. I have done artwork to express it, it also known as the Fractal Universe Theory.

Which means I also don’t agree that the existence of stuff just ends at the smallest known bosons, and logically stipulate, that they themselves are made of smaller things and so on. here is the “periodic table” of sub atomic particles

And everything follows distinct patterns from being organised to chaotically organic due to the attraction , repulsion forces between stuff and the the constant motion and vibration of stuff.

Even this has been misunderstood and dubbed the “finger print of god” or even call the natural arrangement of things “god”… I think the word “god” gets used all the time by people who can think no further to round off reality , not realising they are contributing to the misunderstanding of things… thus dismissing everything altogether.

As well, the universe or nature could not always have existed, because if there was this alleged infinite regress of cause and effects, by that definition, you would have had an eternity to come into being before now, so you should have already happened.

Well as you know fractals are infinite, and the known universe is only a portion of something that goes on and on through infinity. People perceive things to be finite, because some minds find the concept of infinity overwhelming, and modelling it as a fractal helps one to be able to quantise infinity. For example, the number Pi goes on through infinity, yet a circle accurately models it, but when putting it down in digits one can only round it off, with the last digit depending on how much text space they have or how long the program on the computer can process and store it. Infinity is undefined.

The universe actually recycles itself , including the galaxy and even the planet(e.g. the chemical cycles such as carbon, water, nitrogen etc that move through the ecosystem from being in the air, to the water, to plants, to animals, the soil, the crust and the mantle and core), and how the universe formed is it came from the components of older neighbouring universes. Things did not magically appear especially with a man with a magic wand,

Therefore, nature needs a cause outside of itself, outside of time and space, being uncreated. This uncreated Creator is what we typically refer to as God so when we say God we are referring more specifically to this proven uncreated Creator.

As I mentioned earlier, the human mind can only quantise reality in finite manageable portions, like how your electronic computer uses and manages to calculate calculations which may use Pi. Space and time is relevant to the observer/object such as star , galaxy, planet, electron, boson and so on, everything existing in its own time. the time of the universe is different to time experiencing as a human being which is different to the time as you can say multiverse which may have an infinite number of universes on what portion of the infinite is defined as a universe, since people only have managed to see a portion of the universe. There is no out of time and space and absolute nothing. A vacuum for example is assumed to be a portion of nothing, it is not entirely nothing when light or gamma radiation is traveling through it. Because they are spiralling particles that follow similar patters to orbiting planets and stars in galaxies , and galaxies in galaxy clusters when combining their wave and particle attributes together.

I also believe that God is accessible and personal, because He can’t be lesser than His creation. We have these qualities so He can’t not have them. You can really only throw 3 religions in the camp of being accessible or pervasive enough: Christianity, Islam, Hinduism. But the problem with the latter is that placing the burden of free will on a frog if you become a bad human who gets reincarnated into a frog does not effectively address the sin problem. And Brahma the god of Hinduism, is said to be ‘amoral’, but again, how can the greater God have morals below our own? Islam is false because you can’t come along six centuries later in a cave all by yourself without an evidence and write that Jesus never died on the cross despite the overwhelming 1st century sources that testify that He did die on the cross.

I dont understand something that is imaginary physical accessible, but the imaginary being is accessible within your own mind, which your own mind created it, and thus your having a conversation with yourself if you believe you are communicating with such a being. Then since the character is made up in your mind, why would its gender be male ? Why is the common perception of such an imaginary entity male ? Is it because they are told to believe its male ?

Morals differ from culture to culture and from belief to belief, which is why think they are a delusion and deviate from true consciousness(love, compassion, understanding, empathy), reasoning and understanding to be a functional human being to coexist with others and their ecology as a sentient being or an intelligent life form (probably why this planet is a mess), and the belief of a god does not provide this since every god in different religions and spiritualities have different demands on what is considered good and what is considered bad.

I am glad you agree something can’t come from nothing. That’s a good first step. But don’t give up on the big bang (Gen. 1.1). The big bang was created by God. If you want to propose the idea there is an infinite regress of cause and effects in nature in which there is something of nature before the big bang, so on and so on, the problem is you would have happened already, having had an eternity to do so in an infinite regress of cause and effects. Self-contradictorily, you would also never have existed because a past eternity would go on for ‘eternity’ never reaching this point. And so you can see very vividly, nature needs a cause outside of itself, outside of time and space, being uncreated. Typically we call this uncreated Creator God something people easily knew based on Romans 1.20 for centuries even before Christ and before ancient Israel.

*facepalm* you missed the point on what I was trying to say…. don’t give up on the big bang ? Personally the theory is inconsistent, and there are many other different more modern theories out there that is more consistent than the bloated over used big bang.. And only time would refine them with trial and error to get the exact truth.

Using the bible as the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy ? seriously the internet is much better than a vague mistranslated iron age book, since it provides more information be it a combination reason and BS. When think about it the scripture you referenced the first day God created light and dark you referring to the big bang ? How can even a day exist without the existence of light, and other parts of the scripture in the Christian bible say god is light ?

outside space and time makes no sense whatsoever, because time is relevant to the object what ever it may be in its own time… for example. If you travelling on a space craft at the speed of light, time and space seems quite normal, but viewing the passing planet it appears like its been shoved through a photoshop distortion filter… but from the outside watching those space craft move its completely different. The space craft had passed with a bright white flash.

Also I recommend looking in the original Hebrew text… it does not mention the word “god” It mentions “Elohim” which is a plural (more than one) and then mentions a Yahweh, or an Eloah/Eloha which the Koran translation is Allah , it would be dumb to say they are all one character , when they are individually different.

So the direct translation is “In the beginning Elohim dispatched Aleph-Tav” which has nothing to do with creating heaven and earth, but more about transporting alphabet/”from A to Z in hebrew” code(possible connectionbetween the amino acids and the 22 Hebrew letters alphabet) to and from the heavens and the earth.
