Climate Change is not a Religion

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

Climate Change Is Not A Religion. My trust in a greater entity is steeped in what I’ve learned through my religious practices, particularly the Sunday sermon. I’ve learned where to find God in my life, and I’m comforted in my beliefs. But when it comes to climate change, I’m not a believer. Climate change is not a religion to be followed or believed in, but a scientific body of evidence studied and confirmed by every national and international science organization worldwide.

“But when it comes to climate change, I’m not a believer.”

What excuse do you have, are you blind, retarded or some other?

Please point out a single moment of time where the climate has stayed the same. Change is the only thing that exists, the climate changes from moment to moment, from day to day, from month to month, from year to year, and so on infinitum.

Think you are having problems distinguishing the difference between a belief that unsubstantiated magic beings exist, and observation based science. The first is infantile and the later, the realm of grown ups.

Also add, that while your faith can be associated with belief, so is knowing the sun will rise in the morning. Belief is not specific to religion, believing something does not = Religion. Faith in the unsubstantiated is not belief, practicing what you preach is. If you don’t practice what you believe, you are saying you don’t actually believe it.
