Muslim Man Abandoned His 3-Year-Old Daughter In A Trash Can, Chicago IL..
Chicago, IL – On Tuesday, a driver spotted a 3-year-old girl standing alone, crying, beside a road near the forest preserve in Prospect Heights.
The little girl, has only been identified by her first name, Aliya. Her mother was in the process of filing a missing person’s report, at the time she was found, according to police.
CBS News reported:
Illinois Department of Children and Family Services spokesman Andrew Flach tells the Chicago Tribune that an initial investigation found that the girl’s father put her in a trash can and drove away.
Thirty-five-year-old Faiz Ikramulla was charged Thursday with aggravated kidnapping. He’s jailed in Van Buren County, Michigan, pending extradition proceedings.
This is not Ikramulla’s first brush with the law…
In May 2014, police in Portage, Indiana, made a traffic stop of Ikramulla’s vehicle, following a 911 call that a man fitting his description and driving a silver Subaru was urinating on the complainant’s lawn.
However, when the officer approached Ikramulla’s car, the Muslim man struck the officer with his vehicle and drove off. He was eventually stopped, but not before ramming into multiple police cruisers.
The NW Times reported:
Police said they used multiple stun guns on Ikramulla, but he pulled the probes out of his stomach and disregarded police orders. While being pulled from his vehicle, police said he continued to fight and repeatedly shouted, “There is only one true God” and “Allah Hu Akbar.”
Police said they found drivers licenses in Ikramulla’s car from Wisconsin and Illinois, and a passport with destinations including Saudi Arabia, China, Romania, Germany and Amsterdam.
Ikramulla was charged in that incident with two counts of battery to law enforcement, three counts of resisting law enforcement, four counts of criminal recklessness and two counts of leaving the scene of an accident.
That case is still being adjudicated.
