A Congressman Comes to the Kotel

     What Happens when an American Congressman comes to the Kotel? Congressman Dan Kildee from Michigan always knew that his mother’s mother’s mother was a Jew, at least that’s what his mother told him, but he didn’t know that that means that he is a Jew. He went away a little shocked…promising to check it out.

     “Are you sure that your mother’s mother’s mother was a Jew?”

     “That’s that my mother always told me.”

     “If your mother’s mother’s mother was Jewish, then your mother’s mother was Jewish. And if your mother’s mother was Jewish, then your mother is Jewish. And if your mother is Jewish, then you are Jewish. You better find out for sure, and if it is true, you have to find out what you are supposed to do about it. For some reason you were created a Jew. You should find out why.”
