Reflections: Cardinal Schuster
Among the first who wrote we can not forget the deep reflections by Cardinal Ildefonso Schuster addressed to the clergy and faithful of his archdiocese, before death.

Fourth historical document, which confirms the previous and authoritatively interprets the weeping Holy Mary in Syracuse is certainly the radio message Pius XII.
On 17 October 1954, Pope Pius XII, speaking on the radio, at the conclusion of the conference Mariano di Sicilia aroused a wave of emotion in the crowd who listened, with these unexpected and unforgettable expressions:
“… Now, if and so ardent devotion to Mary is rooted in the people of Sicily, who can wonder that she – as we have been told by your most worthy prelates – chose one of your illustrious city to dispense in recent times segnalatissime thanks? “.
The arcane language of those tears

Virgin Mary? Mary cannot “weep”, because she is sleeping in death. She died long long ago. Is Jesus Christ God?
Just a “few” of the MANY passages that reflect His eternal truth…
After Thomas doubted Jesus appeared to other disciples, Jesus returned 8 days later to show Thomas the scars on His body. Then Thomas responded…
John 20:28, “And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God.”
Acts 7:59, “And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.”
Stephen calls upon GOD, and according to this passage the God he chose to speak to was JESUS.
Revelation 1:5-6, “And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood, And hath made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.”
Here we see John the Apostle introducing the visions he received in the Book of Revelation. He speaks of Jesus Christ quite plainly, and in the same breath declares Jesus is declaring Himself God as He speaks of making us kings and priests unto Him. He continues and uses the term “AND” His Father when He declares we are His Father’s kings and priests as well.
Romans 2:16, “In the day when God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel.”
God judges. What is that Judge’s name?
2 Timothy 4:1, “I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;”
John 1:1, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.”
Here we see the Scripture saying the “Word was WITH God, and then it says the Word WAS God.” That’s two God’s mentioned in one verse!
John 1:14, “And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father) full of grace and truth.”
1 Timothy 3:16, “And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.”
Hebrews 1:8-9, “But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Who is that Lord?

Who is the Creator?
John 1:1,3,10 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.”
Ephesians 3:9, “And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things by Jesus Christ:”
Revelation 4:11, “Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.”
Hebrews 3:4, “For every house is builded by some man; but he that built all things is God.”
Is Jesus Christ equal to God?
Philippians 2:5-6, “Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:”
NOTE: In John 1 it said the “Word was WITH God” and then it said the “Word was God” in that passage? This not only declares Jesus is the Word, but as a God He was “with” God as well.
As most will agree, it was God Himself at Sinai that wrote the Ten Commandments.
Jesus said… John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Another time Jesus was approached by a rich man who claimed to understand who he was. Jesus knew He knew who He was as is clear in the following passage.
Matthew 19:16-17, “And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.”
The rich man plainly called Jesus “Good Master.” Jesus then said “Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God”, in return. This is why Jesus only quoted the last 6 commandments to the man in the following verses when instructing him on what he needed to do. Those commandments deal with how we love each other. But the first four were never shared with the man by Jesus because he already appeared to know who God was. The first four commandments deal with how we love God. Why would Jesus declare calling Him “Good Master” was the same as calling Him God if it wasn’t true?
One thing to keep in mind in regards to Jesus Christ being God. When they declare Him to be either non-existent at one time or only a man and not God or part of the Godhead they are in essence denying God are they not? What does the Word say of such people?
1 John 2:22-23, “Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.”
Not only are they considered to be liars and without the Father when they deny His Son, they are also declared by the Word of God itself to be in fact one of the many antichrists we find running rampant in these last days.
1 John 5:20, “And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.”
Galatians 4:4-5, “But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.”
This passage alone proves Mary was not sinless. Like those redeemed “under the law” she was “under the law” as well. And to be “under” means to be “under the curse” of the law.
Galatians 3:10, “For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse: for it is written, Cursed is every one that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the law to do them.”
And it came to pass, as he spake these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare thee, and the paps which thou hast sucked.” (Luke 11:27)
OUR LORD’S IMMEDIATE RESPONSE TO THIS?
“But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word of God, and keep it.” (Luke 11:28)
Roman Catholic Cardinal Gibbons said…
“Do you ask me, is Mary willing to assist you? Does she really take an interest in your welfare? Or is she so much absorbed by the fruitation of God as to be indifferent to our miseries? “Can a woman forget her infant so as not to have pity on the fruit of her womb”? (Isaiah 49:15), Even so Mary will not forget us” “Faith of our Fathers, By Cardinal James Gibbons, Archbishop of Baltimore, page 225, 1893 edition.
Let’s see what Isaiah really says:
“Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? YEA, they may forget, Yet I will not forget thee” Isaiah 49:15
A Roman Catholic Cardinal openly twists the Word of God why? Because he knows that if he plays the odds right MOST Catholics won’t open their Bibles to verify what he said. They are taught not to open Bibles and if they do they are taught not to trust them.
