10 Bible Verses Prove There Is No “Secret Rapture” During The Great Tribulation

Isaiah 26:19-21 is not talking about a “Secret Rapture” it is describing what God will do during and after the End Times. This is more clear if you read the King James Version https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Isaiah%2026&version=KJV At the 2nd Coming of Christ, the dead in Christ will resurrect as Christ resurrected.

19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

20 Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.

21 For, behold, the Lord cometh out of his place to punish the inhabitants of the earth for their iniquity: the earth also shall disclose her blood, and shall no more cover her slain.

The keywords are “together with my dead body shall they arise.” This means as Christ resurrected so will also they who died believing and doing the will of God will be resurrected. We know this because only Christ can say “my dead body shall they arise” and then in the next verse say “Come, my people, enter thou into thy chambers and shut thy doors about thee: and hide thyself as it were for a little moment, until the indignation be overpast.” This is describing what those who go to heaven after 1,000 years with Christ and then they will return to earth inside “the New Jerusalem.”(Rev. 21)

Revelation 20 explains after the 2nd Coming of Christ, Satan will be imprisoned in the earth together with the fallen angels, without people to tempt or deceive, because there will be no one alive on the earth that Satan can manipulate. The prison will be the whole planet earth, covered in darkness, and will have a lot of time to contemplate the darkness.

After 1,000 years, Christ comes with the New Jerusalem from heaven. He first will resurrect all of those who did not go to heaven, which in the Bible is described as God and Magog,

8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog, and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.

9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them. .

When this happening the Saints will be inside their city and they will go into their chambers, as Isaiah states in 26:20.

Isaiah 26:21, matches up with what is said in Revelation 20:11-13
11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.

12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

13 And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works.

Isaiah 26:21 is describing the Day of Judgment that occurs 1,000 years after the 2nd Coming of Christ .

This goes along with Zachariah 14:4-5, because when Christ comes back to earth after 1,000 years with the New Jerusalem and the saints inside the city, he will resurrect all the dead from Cain to the last sinner and then Christ goes to the Mount olives and clears space and room for the New Jerusalem that will be placed in that area. That area has to be purified before he places the New Jerusalem ( a large city built in heaven) in that area. Then Satan, when he is loosed from his prison will again fool the resurrected dead who did not go to heaven by claiming that He is Christ.

Revelation 21:1-3 states
21 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

For Jeremiah 39:16-18, only God can decided who escapes disaster and not escapes disaster. You say this under the assumption, that if you believe in “the secret rapture” then God will save you, but it is in God’s hands if you are saved during the Great tribulation. Another thing, those who are saved from the Great Tribulation or “escape” are part of the 144,000 which are described in Revelation 7 and 14. Read Psalms 91, in order to understand what it means to escape from the Great Tribulation. It is not a “Secret Rapture” that occurs as the cause of them escaping disaster but it is the ministry of Angels that God will send to protect those specific people from that the Great Tribulation that come upon the earth which includes the 7 last plagues of Revelation 16.

Psalm 91:1 “He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.” – This does not mean that there will be a “secret rapture” it just means the God lives in a secret place unknown to humans.

Read Proverbs 30:4 – ” 4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son’s name, if thou canst tell?”

Read Psalm 91:2-8
2 I will say of the Lord, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

3 Surely he shall deliver thee from the snare of the fowler, and from the noisome pestilence.

4 He shall cover thee with his feathers, and under his wings shalt thou trust: his truth shall be thy shield and buckler.

5 Thou shalt not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flieth by day;

6 Nor for the pestilence that walketh in darkness; nor for the destruction that wasteth at noonday.

7 A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.

8 Only with thine eyes shalt thou behold and see the reward of the wicked.

In other words, those who escape from the Great tribulation will do so because of the many angels that surround and protect from the plagues and death that will come upon the world. Again, not everyone will be part of this group.

14 And I looked, and, lo, a Lamb stood on the mount Sion, and with him an hundred forty and four thousand, having his Father’s name written in their foreheads.

2 And I heard a voice from heaven, as the voice of many waters, and as the voice of a great thunder: and I heard the voice of harpers harping with their harps:

3 And they sung as it were a new song before the throne, and before the four beasts, and the elders: and no man could learn that song but the hundred and forty and four thousand, which were redeemed from the earth.

4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto God and to the Lamb.

5 And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God.

6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people,

7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication.

9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand,

10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb:

11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.

12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write, Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them

Here you see that the 144,000 ( a symbolic number) are those who are as virgins (Read Matthew 25: to understand the story of the Ten Virgins), which means they will follow the Commandments of God and the Faith of Jesus Christ, they did not contaminate themselves with other Churches. See Revelation 17, which describes the Church who was Harlot (a whore) which is the anti-thesis of God’s church. In Revelation 12, you read of God’s Church throughout history represented as a Virgin woman ( not the Virgin Mary as some believe)

Again another verse that goes against “the Secret Rapture” is Matthew 24:27 ” 27 For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.” Christ is not a coward to secretly come and invisibly take His people away from danger.

Read John 10:1-10 “Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.”

Therefore, Christ is here saying that Christ’s sheep follow Him and His words and not some human theory.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand.

Again read Daniel 3 and the Three Hebrew Youths. Christ was with three Hebrew youths within the fire and flames of the furnace and nothing happened to them, as a sign of the future 144,000 who will go through the Great Tribulation, and complete their purified as silver or metal is purified in fire.

Malachi 3:1-3 states :

Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me: and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he appeareth? for he is like a refiner’s fire, and like fullers’ soap:

3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.

When Christ uses the metaphor as a thief in the night, he trying to convey the idea of the surprise and fear that a thief comes in the hour least expected. Those who believe in a “secret rapture” are expecting Christ to appear at a certain time or hour, in which only God the Father knows the day and the hour. Again, Matthew 24:35,36
35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

Christ says this in regards to His 2nd Coming and not in regards to “Secret Rapture.” “The Secret Rapture” is a great illusion will make ill those who believe in it.

When Christ gives the parable of two in the field one is taken and the other is left behind, just means that there God will make a decision on who will go to heaven and who will taken by death. Keep in mind, the context of Noah as Christ said, ”

39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. ”

Christ is here describing the decision that will be made for each human for the Judgment of whether to eternal life or to death. Remember, how women represent churches? God is here saying one Church will be grinding at the mill, the bread of life based on the Word of God and the other will be grinding at the mill the bread of death, which is false doctrines not based on the Word of God.
