Greatest Story Never Told Obscured by Catholic Tradition, Translation & Superficial Reading

The Catholic Church boasts that the Trinity is the foundation of all their doctrine (Google). We are to live by “every word of God said Christ (Matthew 4). This means more than a few references to Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Whatever may be known about God may be understood from things that are made, even His godhead,” Romans 1. Translators removed the tetragrammaton (covenant name of God) representing its four members. Supplanting it with LORD or GOD in all capital letters, about 7000 times in the Hebrew Scriptures.  

God (the word, Elohim, is plural form of God in Hebrew) said, “Let us make man “in our image, after our likeness…male and female.” Genesis 1 and 5. Christ taught us to pray, “Our Father which art in heaven.” Christ is the only begotten Son in John 3, but we forget what begotten means. Paul said, “Jerusalem above is the Mother of us all.” Galatians 4. A city cannot be a mother, but cities are named for important persons.

The Daughter of Jerusalem is cited seven times in Scripture, the first two are undeniably a reference to deity, for She was blasphemed (a word that means speaking against God) by Sennacherib’s general and that night, 185,000 Assyrians were slain outside Jerusalem. Isaiah 37 and 2 Kings 19.

Christ was the “only begotten Son” and She was “the only One of her Mother,” Song of Songs 6, a book that is poorly understood—it should be seen as the song of Yeshua, the true wisest king of Israel.

In Solomon’s Proverbs, wisdom is personified as “she” and She was “brought  forth” (the Hebrew word includes the meaning of child birth) before the creation of the world, Chapter 8 where She was brought up with Christ, “daily His delight, rejoicing always before Him.” Verse 30.

They loved each and He shows it in Song of Songs: “Open to Me, my Sister, my love, my dove, my undefiled” Chapter 5. She was the dove that descended on Him at His baptism (Messiah means anointed). She gave Him wisdom to answer Jewish leaders that wanted to entrap Him as their influence with people waned.

When the disciples were stressed at Christ’s saying that He would go to His Father (John 14) She spoke through Him saying, “I will not leave you orphans, I will come to you.” But Catholic translators changed the word “orphanos” in Greek to “comfortless” to hide the idea of another spiritual parent coming to us as Christ would go. He would intercede for us in heaven, Hebrews 7. She would nurture us as a Mother, Romans 8.

Mary is not co-redemptrix and there are no male pronouns in Greek to support the Spirit as He or Him.  She is seen again in Revelation 1 as “One like the Son of man…girt about the paps with a golden girdle.” The Greek word for paps is mastos, and it means female breast. She is walking among the candlesticks (churches) and She says to each church, He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the church. She is knocking at the door of our hearts, wanting to be part of all we do as Christ intercedes for us, Hebrews 7.

She invites us to Her wedding in Revelation 22, but again it’s obscured by translation where “the Spirit and the Bride say Come. The Greek word kai, means “that is to say” so that it could read, “The Spirit, that is to say the Bride says Come.” Our tradition of the bride sending invitations is in harmony with the passage and we can be guests at the wedding of Christ with His Sister Rev 22..

Think about it—when Adam and Eve disobeyed God and incurred a death sentence, Christ and His Sister stepped into the gap to save us. He risked all to die and reconcile us to live better. If He has failed to live in submission to the Spirit, He might have had an affair with Mary Magdalene and He would have died with no resurrection.eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Christ and His Sister risked everything for us. Can we not live in appreciation for the gift of life now and a better life beyond when the war between good and evil (God and devil) is ended? “He is no fool who gives up what he cannot keep to gain what he cannot lose” and forever is a long time to live without sadness or death.               #          #          #
