This is Why the Earth Cannot Spin
The earth cannot spin because it is fixed on pillars and foundations. Here are a few of the scriptures that say so. He set the earth on its foundations; it can never be moved. Psalm 104:5 For the pillars of the earth are the Lords, and he hath set the world upon them. 1 Samuel 2:8 When the earth and all its people quake, it is I who hold its pillars firm. Psalm 75:3 When God created the earth, He set it on pillars and foundations. This is why it cannot spin like scientists tell us. How can it spin when it is sitting on pillars and foundations and can never be moved?
Because there are only two possible explanations for the origin of the universe, the Biblical account and the scientific, they both can’t be right. It has already been proven that the scientific account is false. You can find that HERE. When we examine the Biblical account we find that it is exactly how our world functions, and the math confirms this. Therefore it is the truth and the big bang story is a lie. We can also confirm this by looking at the atmosphere. If the earth was spinning at 1000 mph like they tell us it is then soft billowy clouds could not “hang in the sky” like they do. They would either have to also be travelling at 1000 mph or we would see them moving in the opposite direction at 1000 mph. Because we do not see clouds moving at 1000 mph the only other option is for them to move with the earth. That is super fast for soft billowy clouds to travel and retain their shape. After all they are mostly water vapor. Compare that to a category 5 hurricane which is anything over 157 mph and you can see the correlation. No, the earth does not spin, and no the atmosphere does not move with the earth. That’s why we can lay on our back on a warm sunny day and watch the clouds “hang in the sky” for hours.
God created a beautiful world for us to live on. And He will hold us accountable for how we have treated the earth. He makes sure that everything functions the way it should for us to have a great place to live. He watches over the earth and sends the rain, the sunshine, the snow, the frost, the wind all in their seasons. And no matter how much humans try to alter or harm the earth, He keeps it functioning. We should be very grateful and thankful that He made us such a beautiful place to live and we should all take very good care of it. Unfortunately there are some people who believe that unless humans intervene the earth will somehow “end”. That’s because they don’t understand God. Do you really believe your story? Let’s have a logical look at your claim. The Bible was written nearly 2,000 years ago. There were no telescopes at the time, no one had any understanding of gravity, all they were capable of believing is what they could see with their bare eyes, and speculate the structure of their known universe which did not encompass very much. All predictions in the Bible were based on the scientific information available at the time, and then had to be written in terms the people could understand. Given at the time there was little to no education system most people were illiterate, and lacked any kind of formal education. This probably explains why the book of Enoch was omitted from the Bible, as those compiling the Bible probably considered his writing of that of a mad man.
Conversely, today we have telescopes that can pier deep into space, far beyond our ability to travel. Today we understand the space time continuum, and the effect mass has on light in its ability to distort both light and time. To abandon all the scientific knowledge we have gained in the 2,000 or so years since the compilation of the Bible is ludicrous!
It would be like comparing the medical treatment of bleeding in ancient times to cure medical conditions, as opposed to modern day medical procedures like heart and brain surgery!
I hear people refer to the “firmament” all the time as a protective dome of protection over the earth, that we are incapable of escaping. Yet…
You can put your faith in science if you want to. I put my faith in God and the Word of God which says that we All will stand before the Judgement Seat of God, including you. I pray you would repent and believe the Truth of God’s Word so that you could spend eternity with God.
Pillars is a figurative and poetic terminology of the day.
Proverbs 9:1 Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars:
Jer 1:18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

Pillars is a figurative and poetic terminology of the day. Really? How do you know that? Or is that your opinion. If so that is fine, but I believe it means what it says.
STRONGS H5982 concordance of biblical words. In this case interpretation of OT Hebrew words: it reads,
a. בּרזֶל ע׳ Jeremiah 1:18 (figurative of prophet).
b. poetic of pillars of earth Job 9:5 + Psalm 75:4, of heaven Job 26:11.
c. of wisdom’s house Proverbs 9:1.
Yes I get that, but God also set the earth on foundations and laid the cornerstone and says it is immovable. That is why it does not spin in conjunction with the many other ways to prove that it does not. Like the mathematical example of shooting a gun at a target which can be accessed by clicking on the link in the second paragraph. I cannot ignore all that for the possible meaning of pillars as being something other than a pillar. In any case, quite ok. I still believe He meant pillars and you don’t. that’s okay. God Bless
Respectfully I ask; what is to gain if you are right. Does it serve any purpose in comparison to more important eternal matters? Eternity is where are thoughts should be right now as society and the world are falling apart, right before our very eyes.
