Contributors to BIN Please Read This Posting Guideline

PLEASE PAY ATTENTION TO THE COPYRIGHT LAWS BELOW NEW CONTRIBUTORS!

Quick point here please DO NOT spell out profanity!!!  Please do not double post the same story! 

First contributor in with the story get’s top billing while your duplicate story may eventually pop up it will be held back to keep the front page orderly!

I believe some of our new contributing members may have missed this since I see duplicate stories pouring in so please read…

Thank you for taking the time to post the News!  If you have not read the posting guideline’s I am including them below but the real purpose of this piece is to give you some additional help in posting your stories. 

Please look through the news and see if a story has already been submitted, if it has unless the story you are thinking of posting is substantially different or includes additional information it should not be posted.  Who wants to read the same thing over and and over again?  It is already News and there are so many interesting stories that end up buried that way.

It is also redundant and drives away readers.

Please include links to the stories you submit so the public can go to the source for verification after all anyone could write up anything and call it News. This is not to say that you may not write your own articles you certainly can but they should include facts with links to back up your opinion and should then be placed in the Opinion section not in the Mainstream sections. If you just want to give your opinion we would suggest Face Book, Soda Head or some other social networking site.

Please make sure the title given the article is appropriate for the information that is actually inside. While making up sensational titles to draw interest may seem like a good idea it backfires and irritates the readers when they discover they wasted their time clicking to read it.  Again please read the Posting Rules the Articles must be News worthy.

At times you may see Articles posted in full the reason for that is we have been given permission to do so although once in a while someone has just not read the Copyright Notice included in the posting guidelines and we have to correct the mistake.

Again do not post in full if you do not have permission to do so. 

We have Editor Features you can use to make your story easier to read.  If you cut and paste from an article then high light it and click on the blue box located on the editor bottom row second in from the right  it will make your text uniform thus creating a more easily read and visually more appealing story.

In the past we allowed everyone to submit stories immediately but some bad apples kept spamming the site with questionable promotions and entering them in the wrong categories.  Because of this we have had to implement a delay if you post 3 stories that are accurate you will be given established status and your news will immediately be placed on site. We are currently weeding through those who still are trying to beat the system and will be blocking them.  If you want to post Promotional material there are steps to take to do so and they MUST be placed in the Promotional Category ONLY!  Simply put anything that leads to a charge for a service or something for sale is Promotional.

To Recap

1. Please do not post duplicate stories.

2. Please read the posting guidelines and make sure the stories submitted are News worthy.

3. Please include links (you can do so by linking them into a phrase, example Continue Reading) or by including the

     URL, Example beforeitsnews.com/ 

4. Editing the text makes it easier to read and more visually appealing.

5. Make sure your title reflects the content if it doesn’t we may be deleting them.

6. Promotional material must be placed in the proper category period.
