You do NOT want to purchase WeatherShield Windows also known as previous Peachtree Windows!

As you google PEACHTREE windows and doors, you will notice the problems people are having with Peachtree windows.  When people purchased these windows from Peachtree, they came with a 20 year warranty.  Because of so many problems, in 2009, WeatherShield buys Peachtree or so I am routed to WeatherShield and that is what I am told.  If you search Peachtree windows, you will see customer comments on the horrible quality of Peachtree.  Rotting wood, insects from that rotting wood, air loss, air coming in, you name it – people have several quality issues with these windows costing thousands of dollars to repair.  People try to buy products made in the USA but this is the hassle you get.  The Peachtree phone number routes you to WeatherShield.  They state they will talk to a supervisor – they state they will call you back – you have to call them back – AND THEN – Weathershield says – You guessed it – We will not send a representaive nor will we correct or uphold anything.  This comes from firsthand experience with these Peachtree windows – Long Story Short – Allegedly – if you buy anything from WeatherShield, you are going to get the same quality and customer service.  If anyone has a story regarding WeatherShield or Peachtree Windows – Post it. Contact the FTC AT www.ftc.gov if you’ve had problems with Peachtree Windows under warranty and you are routed to WeatherShield to take care of your problems.  Bottom Line is – WeatherShield wants you to buy the same product just under another name.
