Inpsector For Philadelphia Collapse Tragedy, Commits Suicide, Or Is Suicided.

http://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/inspector-philly-collapse-commits-suicide-19389674#.UbnHXeSDC00

An inspector who surveyed a downtown building weeks before it collapsed, killing 6 people, was found dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound a week after the accident, authorities said Thursday.

The 52-year-old man’s body was found Wednesday night in a pickup truck with a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the chest, according to Philadelphia police.

While I certainly understand that an individual who was responsible to ensure safety in this tragic incidence would carry boatloads of guilt, a convenient suicide could also cover up the massive amounts of corruption going on in the Philadelphia government.

Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, a Democrat, attempted to skirt the issue in a press conference Thursday, claiming, “Buildings get demolished all the time in the city of Philadelphia with active buildings right next to them.” Attempting to portray it as an isolated incident, Nutter claimed, “Something obviously went wrong here yesterday and possibly in the days leading up to it. That’s what the investigation is for.”

The mayor also claimed that, “to [his] knowledge,” there had been no complaints about the site before the incident. In fact, numerous complaints had been made. One sent to OSHA on May 15th alleged workers were at risk of falling. According to the Department of Labor, the complaint was still open at the time of the catastrophe.

Another warning was made to the city’s 311 website by Philadelphia resident Stephen Field a month before. Field described the worksite as “clearly unsafe.”

The role the building’s owner played in the disaster cannot be discounted either. Richard Basciano, former “porn king” of New York City, hired contractor Griffin Campbell Construction, which has a criminal record, including insurance fraud, for $10,000, when experts say the demolition should have cost about $250,000. Basciano apparently has friends in high places, as former Pennsylvania governor Ed Rendell has publicly defended him since the disaster.

In addition, the mayor has joined the media in scapegoating workers by proposing drug testing and background checks for heavy equipment operators.

What a hypocrite. What Nutter should do, is drug test his corrupt cops.

Drug-related corruption within the Philadelphia Police Department – once again – is the target of federal authorities.

Curiously, this latest federal enforcement action against Philadelphia police tainted by drug corruption did not involve the six officers at the center of a mushrooming scandal that has resulted in Philadelphia city prosecutors refusing to prosecute drug arrests by those officers.

Philadelphia’s DA has yet to fully explain why he will no longer prosecute arrests made by those six officers, now transferred from narcotics to street patrol duty. This decision not to prosecute has led to the dismissal of over 300 cases since December 2012.

For this reason, I suspect the inspector was more than likely suicided by cops. I mean, who shoots themselves in the chest to commit suicide??

Garcia was arrested last year on charges he was not just a cop but also a heroin dealer, allegedly while in uniform and working out of his patrol car

Now, a second officer — Sydemy Joanis — has been charged, the indictment unsealed today charging both Joanis and Garcia and Joanis with setting up and robbing drug dealers while on the job, using actual and threatened force.

Less than two weeks ago, in a separate case, veteran narcotics officer Jeffrey Walker was charged, and fired.  It’s alleged that he planted drugs on a drug dealer, made an arrest, then stole a house key and went to the target’s home, where he stole approximately $15,000

I thought is was odd that none of the construction workers were injured. And how convenient the fire department is only a block away. This thing didn’t pass the smell test from the get go. Could have been a false flag to take news focus away from the scandals too…Thanks for the info.
