Atlantic Site presents evidence of undewater ruins...could this be Atlantis?

After reading a recent online article posted by Nick Eaton, I became extremely intrigued by the notion that an underwater structure of some sort had been located in the Atlantic. According to Nick’s report, a fellow by the name of Bernie Bamford, who is said to be an aeronautical engineer from Britain, recently discovered an odd formation on Google’s NASA satellite imagery maps at the following location, 31 15’15.53N 24 15’30.53W. For those of you who want to find it easier, go directly West, or to your left, about six hundred miles from the coast of Morocco.

Well, after reading the article, I was able to not only find the underwater structure, but after looking at it a bit closer, I realized Bamford is absolutely correct. The structure, whatever it is, is precisely rectangular. All four corners of the area are nearly perfect 90 degree angles. Nothing in nature can possibly make that happen. Straight lines occur frequently, but perfect angles do not. And especially not four perfect angles making a rectangle. This structure simply must be of intelligent design and construction.

If you pan further East , you find the Portuguese island of Madeira. I noted an odd straight line led NE from Bamford’s site almost directly to Madeira. After looking around at the island, I noticed some more very curious underwater lines and formations that were even more geometrically amazing. One even appeared to be a diamond shape…and again, more 90 degree angles and even some near perfect 45 degree angles.

But this all gets stranger. Looking back to Bamford’s site, I zoomed out and noted three large structures or mountains to the West of the site. Their positioning reminded me very much of the pyramids at Giza, which are, according to modern thinking, aligned based on three stars in Orion’s Belt. But if you look at Orion’s Belt, there are really four large stars in the formation. Take a look at my video clip hosted on Youtube, and see how the star formation, Giza, and Bamford’s site all look very, very similar. In fact, Bamford’s site resembles the star formation far more accurately than does Giza.

In the video, please note that the Giza image overlay is enlarged. Bamford’s site is at least five times the size of the Giza plateau. I enlarged them to do an overlay comparison.

Are the structures to the West of Bamford’s site pyramids? I don’t know. They certainly look very much like they could be. If they are, take into consideration they would be over five times the size of the Giza pyramids.

The most remarkable fact about Bamford’s find…is that if this should really turn out to be Atlantis, it is EXACTLY where Plato and Solon described it to be. According to the ancient accounts, Atlantis lay directly West of the Pillars of Hercules, or what we know today as the Straits of Gibraltar. So what are these lines we see intersecting at such perfect angles? Roads? I very much doubt that. Instead, some of the ancient stories of Atlantis mentioned the nation was a major sea power and that they possessed large inland harbors and canals. So I suspect these deep lines we see could be actual canals or the remnants of large harbor inlets.

In conclusion, I just wanted to go over what I had found and report the evidence and additional information.  What this really turns out to be is anyone’s guess, but it is certainly very interesting and deserves further investigation.
