Delhi-based BenefitsPLUS has invested over $2 million in daily deal site Koovs.com to acquire a controlling stake. BenefitsPLUS is a B2B service provider of employee recognition and rewards programmes. It recently acquired Snowball eRetail Services which is an online retail portal for enterprises. With controlling stake in Koovs.com, BenefitsPLUS has now entered into B2C space of e-commerce.
BenefitsPLUS is a wholly owned subsidiary of DigiVive Services, a technology venture. It aspires to become a leading player in e-commerce space. Paul Shoker, Founder & CEO, BenefitsPLUS said,“After establishing ourselves as an exciting B2E player, venturing into B2C was a natural and obvious extension, giving us automatic leverage. We want to take the online shopping experience to the next level and will invest $3 million on marketing, technology scaling and on new hires to strengthen our value proposition for consumers”.
