HP cuts price of Touchpad to $99
It has only been a couple days sense HP announced the demise of current WebOS devices on the market and already they have reportedly sent out a memo to retailers for them to drop the price of their flagship tablet down to $99 for the 16GB model and $149 for the 32GB. The memo stated that the price drop was to take place today (Aug 20th) but Best Buy Canada dropped the price last night and there are reports across the country of the price cut hitting Best Buy in the States. The price drop has not hit Best Buy’s website yet but we can only assume that it will be coming soon.
