Virginia Beach, Va. — Researchers for the Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) have investigated an underwater site with what appears to be the remains of a collapsed multi-room building. Locals first found the structure and notified A.R.E. team members who made several expeditions to the location. The building foundation has manmade mitered limestone corners and other debris inside the outer walls. A sample of beach rock from a long, straight foundation wall was carbon dated to between 21,520 BCE and 20,610 BCE. These dates are astonishing, because prior to this discovery most researchers considered the oldest dates for humans in this area to be 1000 BCE.
A spokesman for the team said that their organization has been searching this region since the late 1960s and they have found many unusual underwater formations that appear to be manmade, but this is the first site to actually be carbon dated to a time long before the last Ice Age ended, indicating that a highly developed culture once lived off the coast of the Bahamas and operated throughout the region.

Why is it that carbon dating is wrong 100% of the time when it is used to test something of known age, but accepted as 100% infallible when testing something of unknown age?
Since none of the dating methods can be calibrated, none are reliable.
This story is baloney.
First, rocks cannot be carbon dated. In fact they cannot be dated at all. So the dates they are using are being pulled out of their a55.
Even if rocks could be dated, all that would prove is the date when the rock was created and not when a man quarried the rock, squared it then placed it in the wall. And all those things are impossible to date.
Period. End of story.

O Ryan Faust you are misleading people. Carbon dating has error bounds on it, so that it is accurate within a certain plus/minus range. It ‘s not fool proof and should be backed up by other dating procedures. There are other procedures by the way, such as weather erosion. Once the stone is quarried and turned into a building it will start to experience weather erosion. There are perfectly legitimate methodologies for doing dating this way. I would hold off making a judgement about this discovery until further testing is done.

Mankind has been here on the earth in some form just recently in the last 200,000 years. Im speaking of civilizations not the stupid evolution monkey theorys or cavemen. Understanding that there have been many highly organized civilizations on this planet for this amount of time? Then consider what might have destroyed all of these civilizations to barely leave just a trace of most of them? Surely time itself may have worn down the ruins of many. But unless a civilization destroys itself, which is possible, then something else must have destroyed many of them? They did not all fall on their own accord! Consider that just now the governments of the world are starting to come clean about aliens and ufo’s. Admitting that they are real and they knew all along about them. The aliens have been supporting colonies on this planet for the whole of 200,000 years and then some! And that some of the more evil aliens enslaved and tried to destroy colonies of other star races. It would seem there might have been some big wars between aliens here with humans as the object of. Still all in all it would not account for the fall of all of the different civilizations. There must be another factor at play here, such as a cosmic disturbance, occuring every so often. Perhaps on a regular schedual. Like Nibiru, or the photon belt, or a dark twin to the sun in the outer oort cloud, moving so close every so often as to throw large comets and asteroids towards the sun. Occams razor, all things being equal the simplest answer is the truth. Lately in this last generation of this paticular civilization, there is evidence of all these things being true, being discovered all the time.
