To Chizhevsky, solar cycles were a problem and presented multiple dangers to Earth, humans, and human technology.
Studying the sun’s cycles, he was able to correlate the data and show the link between the sun and Earth’s climate, and how the solar maximum and minimum cycles affects planetary life: specifically the functioning of the brain.
The scientist revealed that the geomagnetic field surrounding the planet was one of the primary influences of the entire biosphere.
Digging deeper into the data, he became first concerned, and then almost frightened, when he realized that intense solar storms deeply affects the cognitive process of human and animal brains, and the primal emotions.
He argued his findings showed geomagnetic storms cause terrible changes in the minds of populations, drive epidemics and insect infestations, affect weather creating monster storms, and leads to societal upheavals, civil wars, revolutions, and so on.

Building upon the Russian scientist’s research, Wheeler created a numerically-weighted ranking system to separate wars and even individual battles allowing him to assess their duration and severity.

He then correlated the reams of data he’d gathered with the 11-year sunspot cycle.
The results were revealing and horrifying.

i don’t think its the sun, at least not alone anyway. Immanuel Velikovsky wrote in his 1950 book that cosmic intruders pass out planet every 3500 years or so and cause havoc with the planet and with us as. He wrote that we are struck by madness whenever these events take place.

Have they worked out why it affects some people and not others? I have not run out and rioted or demonstrated at all. Is there something wrong with me or maybe its the tin foil under my hat.

It is also punishment for evil men being allowed by our lukewarmness to infiltrate the Church with the Satanic intentions of Freemasons and all who wish to destroy the Church.
God is sending the chastisement promised by Our Lady in so many of her apparitions; La Salette, Fatima and more recently Akita. All of these apparitions are approved but mostly ignored. It is probably too late to prevent the chastisement completely but not to mitigate it. Heaven has asked one thing over and over; pray the rosary. Turn away from sins, we all know what that is. This is just the last dregs, the last ditch scenario to frighten all the children into compliance but as we can all feel and are witnessing, these efforts are over and done, and it is too late.

These solar flares are filled with Adamantine particles which are like little bursts of love potions that we are able to absorb. i’d like to know how Christians believe they are the only saved religion, Yeshua was a jew! he never intended to start a new religion other then Judaism. When I was 21, I attended a lecture at Southern Methodist University in Dallas.
The man who lectured gave us a section of the Bible. On one side of the page was written the King James Version; and on the opposite side of the page was the scriptures written in Aramaic ( the language of Jesus).
Jesus NEVER said, “Believe in me and you will have Eternal Life.”
He said, “Believe me! You (already) have eternal life.”
Meaning, no matter what religion you are — Eternal Life is a Fact and he was “offering that fact!.

Anon, I researched for years and years. His name! The man who taught the class, George Lamsa. He went on to explain that through all of the changes in the Bible soooo much had been left out — and/or changed! The Bible was written through the eyes of those in the Middle East — then transcribed to those living in Europe etc. Their way of speaking was in “parables” — ways of telling stories. The stories were not meant to be “literal.” Meaning, Jonas was NOT swallowed by a whale. In the Middle East, if someone says, “I was swallowed by a whale last week. What they are saying is that their life is sooo messed up that it is “as though” they were, in fact swallowed by a whale. The smaller problems would be described in other ways. The larger problems had to have a symbol representing the horrendous problem such as beign “swallowed by a whale”!
When there are people who “have to have every piece fit! — they will cling to the letter of each sentence and MAKE IT TRUE, and pound and yell at anyone who believes differently.

Not Anon, I will share something with you. Like I said, I was raised in a church (Primitive Baptist-does that tell you anything? LOL). When I was 5, I had to go with my parents to a sun rise service at the lake to remember Christ’s death on the Cross. Here is a tiny little child looking at everyone crying. I asked my mother, “Mommy, why are they crying? Jesus would hate that!”

my experience was, I also was around the age of 5. I was attending a local small baptist church, when on one Sunday school service the entire class was (all around the same age) was told “all our parents would die”. “Get over it”.
I went home crying for two day’s, and had to explain to my mother she was going to die, so this is the reason i am crying.
I know now they will, but it isn’t/wasn’t Jesus teaching to distill that information into a child, that don’t understand those types of parables.

Blind faith is very dangerous! It has been proven that people are willing to die for their beliefs! What a stupid thing to die for! Everyone’s life is worth so much more than any single belief.

Dear Darla, “Armageddon” does not mean the “unveiling”, it means “Mount Meggido”. “Apocalypse” means unveiling. “Apocalypse” is the name of the last book in the Bible, the English word “Revelation” is a good translation of that word. I didn’t read your post because if your scholarship is errant on one point, it’s going to be errant elsewhere as well.
I find it interesting that atheists have no toleration for theists. My question is why? The purpose of a “comments” section is to provide a venue for people to express their views pertinent to the subject of an article. Since the theists are doing precisely that, why are atheists so offended?

if i see a thing that i want ,and have been told – only under certain conditions – is it allowed , i might want to say that that rule is unfair . if some one who has not been told about the conditions- or dis regards them and gets that thing , and i say that they are wrong – then they could easily say that they do not believe it is wrong to get this thing without meeting these conditions . thus is the tug of war between god and man . as a god , i can stress my words and back them up with actions, which in the eyes of those that believe my words are true, is enough to confirm with them what is right and wrong in my eyes , but , if i am a man who wants what i want because i believe i have the right to get anything i can , then ….i am not paused by someones idea of morality and will do as i wish . but , if by my attempting to do as i wish it is looked upon and found to be bad for society then there will be those that will try to stop my efforts . i can deny the offending effects of my actions , hide them or cause those who oppose me to look bad in the public eye and by all of this subterfuge continue my actions and gain my objectives . it is still bad for society , but i got away with it -too bad for you -good for me . or… i might disagree with what is said to be wrong and hide my disbelief but subtly try to undermine these peoples beliefs , and raise my kids the same . this is a long way from eminations from the sun , but if you look at human history – all nature has its seasons – it only humans which act out of season for ego reasons , or excuses . if there is a god who has given these rules and these rules are good for society this should reinforce the concept of a loving god . if these rules are bad for societ then there may be question of their origin . the only way for a god to get these rules across to humans is to use humans as voices , this inturn suggests that there may be humans who thing that the messengers were not correct in their conveance of this info and again there is questions . the only way to get everyone to recognise the truth is to give this truth to all at the same time-until then if we love all with an honest and humble love then we may be half way there already . the sun shines on all equally and it is only their moral fibre , character which seperates the ones who enjoy the light and those that choose the shadows.
How are you going to feel when the god/gods that you worship comes back and suddenly you find yourselves being slaves instead of living in eternal peace?

@justyntoo: here’s the problem: what is the defining absolute that declares right and wrong? Any way you look at it, it comes down to personal belief. If you say “it’s God’s word,” how do you know it really is? You don’t. And you can’t. You know what you were told by others, who you chose to believe. That doesn’t make it true for anybody except you. You can’t “prove” anything – you can only provide supporting evidence and others can choose to believe or not. And it’s all personal belief. So there is no “what’s good / bad for society.” Only each individual’s belief about what that is.

Upaces: the funny thing about this entire string of commentary is that just about everybody has such final, absolute answers, down to the last detail! It’s amazing how so many people know so much about stuff we just can’t know about! These declarations are made with such finality, such all-knowingness .. THIS! Is how it IS suckuh! Comment after comment, the end-all final truth is declared, only to be contradicted by the next person posting a comment – which proves it’s only all about individual belief. What I’ve resolved – through experience – is that my *belief* is that *the* shift is coming, pretty much around the 12/21/2012 time frame, but I keep in mind that it’s a best-guess scenario that I’ve chosen to more or less believe in, based on my interpretation of what indications and evidence I’ve been able to find, coupled with whatever I’ve experienced in my own life. But it’s a belief, and I keep it firmly in that category. I don’t *know* anything. But whatever is coming, my *belief* is that it really doesn’t matter what comes our way, how devastating, etc.; it’s going to sneak up on us. People do love to compartmentalize things, as you pointed out – they like to think the 2012 scenario with all its attendant facets is going to be like a scheduled play. We all show up at the theater on this date and time, sit in our seats, bring our popcorn and get our drinks, then wait for the show to start at its appointed time. It’s never worked that way before, that I’ve ever known about. So I don’t expect this time will be much different. Whatever comes our way, it’s going to blind side us. I figure the best thing I can do is avoid declarations of absolutes and keep the slate blank – I have no idea what’s coming or when. It leaves me a lot less cocky and arrogant and a lot more thoughtful and serious about what I do with what resources I have in the way of preparing.
As for selfishness: this is one of my primary issues in life. We are conditioned and taught by other humans that selfishness is wrong, evil, bad, etc. Maybe it isn’t. As people, we need what we need. If I don’t provide for my own needs, then I will either do without or become somebody else’s burden. 99.99999% of the time those fighting homelessness, hunger, etc. will only deal with the concept on a mass scale. They can only think in terms of big groups. They can’t and won’t deal with individual cases, so individual solutions are not considered. This is why no celebrities are sharing any appreciable part of their wealth or opening their homes to the homeless; this is why the vast majority of money in Washington is controlled by “bleeding heart democrats” (who seem to be anything but that), etc. They will only think in terms of big groups. If 35 children died at the same time … would it make the news? It depends. Put them together in a school bus that crashes and we’ll be hearing about vigils from all corners of the globe. But separate them – change their geographical relationship relative to each other, without changing any other factor – have each one die independent of the rest, of some rare childhood disease, and now, none of it is news. This tells us it’s not about children dying. It’s about drama. Nobody will admit that, but they all demonstrate it.
One has to leave the scriptural psychotics to their own demise.

I say that you never know what will cause humans to be forced into the next stage of evolution. But it’s usually not pretty flowers and love. Historically it’s things that stress people out and threaten their very lives that are the factors that drive evolution, and drive people onto the next level. historically it’s being oppressed by another people, weather, lack of food and other resources. And looking around,I would say we are in for a doozy step forward.

I on many occasions have remarked that the bleeding hearts ( regardless of their party affiliation) should cease telling the rest of us what to do and take the lead by example approach. How many homes does Sean Penn – Michael Moore – Susan Sarandon – Alec Baldwin or any of the others own? How many homeless persons could they have move into their homes? A truly one to one personal approach to a problem.
No I am not interested in what they donated to charity I want to know the names and faces of the persons they have directly assisted, brought into their homes or paid for them to have a home – food – clothing – until those individuals were able to stand on their own again.

I do believe the sun has MAJOR consequences on this planet, that people pretty much disregard as nonsense. It was just like when last week they admitted they JUST discovered the link between the sun and seismic events! REALLY? Because I’ve known that for years, and am far from a scientist. Most science anyone can do. Take the past take the numbers, and do some research and you or I could come up with as possible of a theory as the rest of the real scientists by simply using common knowledge. Also as far as it CAUSING these riots and what not, could be, but I’m counting my chips on corrupt governments going too far, not so much the sun. Maybe a mix of both. I believe people have been fed up for a good while, just didn’t have the umph to do anything about it. Maybe the suns crazy ass activity the last six months has pushed us past that “sit back and take it” attitude
