Best First Person Shooters of 2012
Every year there are a ton of first person shooters released, 2012 is no different. Below is the list of first person shooters games worth getting excited for.
Call of Duty: Black Ops 2
Black Ops 2 is the ninth installment in the multimillion selling call of duty franchise. This is the first Call of Duty game to feature a futuristic setting which is a nice step to keep the series fresh. The game will host three different modes a single-player campaign, co-op play with Zombies, and finally the multiplayer. The game will be released this fall.
Halo 4
Back in 2001, home consoles weren’t known for first person shooter games. That all changed when Microsoft released Halo: Combat made exclusively for the Xbox. In Halo 4, the developers have promised a darker story and have stated that the game will be the best looking game for Xbox360 and with fan favorite Master Chief returning as the main character. This is shaping up to be the best Halo game thus far. Halo 4 is set for a worldwide release on November 6, 2012.
Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Warfighter is the 14th installment in the Medal of Honor series and the direct sequel to 2010 series reboot Medal of Honor. Built on Frost Byte 2 Engine, the visuals are sure to be amazing. The developers are looking to lengthen the campaign mode which was quite short in the 2010 reboot. Medal of Honor: Warfighter will be available this October.
Notable Mention: Far cry 3 and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
