As if the last full size ad in news print wasn’t enough to push some peoples buttons, Samsung went a head and poked Apple and iPhone fans a little harder. They have just released a new commercial that is all about the “Next Big Thing” already being here now. Poking iPhone fans who are sitting in line for the iPhone 5. The mind blowing headphone plug on the bottom, the new adapter and all the amazing things that the new iPhone5 sports. Making sure to also poke 4G, the screen size and plenty more. It is pretty comical. Take a quick watch.

Is it too much though? We know it is all about marketing and getting people to buy your device, but the Galaxy S III sells its self quite easily and for less. Getting some people to give it a spin is harder than most think though. Apple makes a solid product, but unless you can show iPhone fans things they can’t do that they probably wish they could, then there is no hope. Personally, it all come down to personal preference. We do or fare share of poking because it is fun. So do they. As long as it stays civil then there isn’t anything wrong with it. The smartphone battle will ensue as long as smartphones exist. Just like the XBox vs PS3 fans, Coke vs Pepsi, McDonald’s vs Burger King and anything else you can think of where they advertise against each other and have faithful followers and loyal customers.

You can expect to see this ad go live tonight during “The Voice” on NBC and “The X-Factor” on Fox,

On a side note though, if I had an Apple store anywhere near where I lived, I would totally be one of those guys showing off my phones pure awesomeness around the line.
