Madhuri Dixit Launches A Dedicated Mobile App For Her Fans
First it was Simi Garewal who launched a website to reach out to her fans and now it is Madhuri Dixit-Nene who has gone one step further by launching her own mobile application. (She already has a personal website.)
Speaking on the launch, Mrs. Perfect Smile said, “People carry a phone with them all the time, so an app is a wonderful device to stay connected with fans in their time and space.”
The app is arty and has a neat UI. It includes sections like Hair & Beauty (where Mrs. Nene gives tips), Movies (which lists all her movies and how she got the role), Dance, Art, Fashion and Gallery.
The write-ups in each section are brief but could do with some proof-reading. The app is currently available on iOS and will be soon launched for Android devices.
I think this app is for die-hard fans only and the ‘regular’ crowd should not bother. While we are on it, could someone please explain what’s the obsession has-been stars have with launching websites and apps?
