It really looks as if they are not manufacturing the product quick enough for consumers. Google seems to be having a hard time dealing with the demand but this is a very good position to be in as far as any company is concerned. There are indications that the 8GB version will continue to be scare to come by in the coming months so it would make sense to go for the 16GB version.
