ZTE Grand Era, the slimmest quad-core Android with a sub-P15k price
ZTE earlier revealed their upcoming 4.5-inch Grand Era which they are touting as the slimmest quad-core Android phone in the market.
The ZTE Grand Era V985 has an average thickness of 8.6mm which ZTE claims is the thinnest quad-core phone although I think it’s almost the same as the Samsung Galaxy S3. I mean the disparity is barely negligible.
What’s nice here is that for an indicative price (will be out Q1 of 2013) of Php15k, you’ll be getting a 4.5-inch smartphone with IPS HD display, powered by a quad-core NVIDIA Tegra 3 chip, and runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS. The photo shows Ice Cream Sandwich but it will be running on Jelly Bean once it comes out.
RAM on this phone is at 1GB with a measly 4GB internal storage but capable of handling microSD up to 32GB. There’s also an 8-megapixel BSI camera at the rear and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera.
According to ZTE’s local distributor, MSI-ECS, the Grand Era will have be available next quarter with an indicative price of Php14,999.
