Netatmo To Unveil Weather Station Hardware + App At CES 2013
Debuting at CES 2013 will be thousands of new gadgets and pieces of software. Some more useful than others. But one thing we think you might like (being the mobile focused junkies that we are) is being brought to you by Netatmo, a company known for their weather stations. For 2013, the weather station is coming to your phone in real-time with the new Urban Weather Station and accompanying Android and iPhone app.
The hardware of the Urban Weather Station will record data such as indoor/outdoor temperature, humidity, air pressure, CO2 levels, air quality and more. Data is streamed to the Android/iPhone app (that looks pretty awesome we might add) via WiFi. Other perks include alerts for things like indoor CO2 levels as well as more “normal” information such as detailed 7-day forecasts.
If you can’t wait to see the hands-on from the CES show floor next week, you can technically order it now ($179) from Netatmo’s website while the corresponding Android (Play Link) and iPhone (iTunes Link) apps are also available now free of charge.
