Samsung Working on Advanced Features of Series 7 Chronos that Comes with AMD Radeon HD 8870M Graphics
Towards the end of 2012, Samsung launched another Series 7 Chronos range laptop of 17-inch model. It also updated the entire family with Ivy Bridge processors to boot. We are just into 2013 and the company is not at rest yet. They have leaked that they are working on a better hardware for the new addition laptop.
Even though there is no much information about the hardware, it has been revealed that RAMaccelerator, full HD display, JBL speakers and a beefy new AMD Radeon HD 8870M GPU will be part of the advancements. The former is said to offer 50% faster applications loading.
It is not clear which model will carry this advanced features but we can guess that maybe the 1920 x 1080 panel and the JBL speakers could be destined for the 15 inch model since the new 17 inch model already has the features. At the same time, the RAMaccelerator and the upgraded graphics could be for the latest 17 inch model, but we will get to know when the time comes. After all, it is not going to be long before we can have a real picture of what is for what during the upcoming CES show.
