We have not seen anything from MSI recently, but now the computer maker have a come up with their latest Apple lookalike the S30 ultrabook, it’s in pure white as you might expect it to be, offers a neat 13.3 inch screen, Intel Core i3 processor and optional SSD for storage. its light too at just 1.4 kilos and is around 23 mm thick, so this really is a cool new contender in the ultrabook market. MSI have not given us any prices for it yet, but we are thinking that it will start from around $500. Yet with some of those options available, it could easily creep in price a couple hundred dollar if the buyer is not that careful.

The MSI S30 offers the buyer a base spec that includes the 13.3 inch screen with an HD LED backlight display offering a 1366 X 768 pixel resolutions. It is going to be running on the latest Microsoft Windows 8 operating system and powered by the 3rd Generation of Intel Core i3 processors. There is support for the Intel HM76 & 70 express chipset, but there is no mention yet on what video graphics card the S30 will be using. The S30 has an unspecified amount of DDR3 1066MHz to 1333MHz memory, with a 500 GB 5400rpm mSATA hard disk drive (HDD) and an optional 64 GB solid state drive (SSD) for storage purposes.

As for communications, there is the 802.11 b/g/n Wireless LAN, useful Bluetooth v4.0 and the Gigabit wired LAN. Other features in the built in HD web camera, D-Sub (VGA) & HDMI display ports, a single standard style USB 2.0 port, a single fast connecting USB 3.0 port, Mic-in/Headphone-out and the always handy to have SD, SDHC, SDXC & MMC Card Reader. This laptop measures up at 324 mm (W) x 227 mm (D) x 22.8 mm (H) and weighs in at 1.4 kilos with the battery pack in place that MSI say will be offering enough battery life for all day computing!

Once this cool looking laptop is released by MSI onto the market we are expecting a starting price of around $500 to be placed on it.
