Will science allow stupidity to turn it into a religion?

Science is by some people misunderstood as a religion, ie, being able to convey “The Truth”. This misunderstanding is unfortunate, not the least to science itself, since the fact that it can’t is fairly obvious also to medium intelligent people, and also already has been demonstrated by several thinkers (eg, Plato and Bertrand Russell). Science can actually just be either ambiguous or contradictory.

The problem in a nutshell for science to convey “The Truth” is that reality and our comprehension of reality can’t be fused consistently, and that we thus can’t decide whether reality or our comprehension of reality is “True”, AND that the choice that our comprehension of reality is “True” is contradictory (as demonstrated by Russell’s paradox). This problem does thus not leave any other option for “The Truth” except reality, which we thus can’t fuse consistently with our comprehension of reality. Instead, the problem condemn those of us that misunderstand science as a religion to an eternal rotation in an orthogonal carousel.

The only consistent solution to this orthogonal carousel is Plato’s “Theory of forms”, which, unfortunately, does not solve the problem for science to convey “The Truth”, but just gives a consistent platform for science and a framework of what it can possibly achieve. It restricts science’s possible achievements to predicting the movements of the shadows that the perfect world casts on the wall of the cave we’re in. Whether there is “a perfect world” outside of this cave or not, we will, unfortunately, never find out, but rationality requires that there is one. This “perfect world” is actually the place for religion, which some people thus confuse into science. The thought (belief) that science is able to nail this “perfect world” is just as stupid as believing that “before” can be “after”, and vice versa, which cladists believe, or believing that we can find a particle that also is a wave, which Higg’s particle-ists believe. The facts that “before” also is ”after” and that a particle also is a wave does not mean that they are both at the same time, because also “before” contains a “before” and an “after”, and every particle is also both a particle and a wave.

The question is thus if science will allow stupid people that misunderstand science as a religion to destroy science by diverting it into a (contradictory) belief?
