On the vain human search for what reality is

We can talk about reality, but we can’t find out what reality is, because if we could, then there would be no difference between reality and our talk about it, instead meaning that everything we say would be true.

On the contrary, this difference between reality and our talk about reality means that truths about what reality is is a matter of a gray scale, ie, different statements about what reality is can only be more or less true. This fact, in turn, means that the notion of a single truth is empty in reality, since there are at least two just as true statements about what it is: the assumption that reality is true means that our talk about it is relative, and vice versa, and the difference between truth and relativity is just that whereas truth is one, relativity are several.

This difference between reality and our talk about reality did already the ancient Greeks reveal, crowned by Plato’s theory of forms about 2,400 years ago. This revelation does not, however, obviously, hinder us from getting lost in this difference still today. Still, people like “particle physicists” and “cladists” try to confuse reality and our talk about reality in their, obviously, endless (and today also ignorant and factually vain) search for a fusion of them. When will humanity (as a whole) understand that there is no single explanation of what reality is to be found? - Never will “particle physicists” find Higg’s boson, because there are at least two (kinds of) Higg’s boson, and never will “cladists” find the tree of life, because there are at least two (kinds of) trees of life. These people simply can’t distinguish entity and class, because if they could, then they would abandon their endless (and today also ignorant and factually vain) search for a fusion of them. These people are simply lost among words.

We can model how reality functions, but we can’t find out what it is. A search for what it is is in the best case an endless (and today also ignorant and factually vain) search, and in the worst case a paranoic circle ranging from between people that partition reality (ie, nominalists) and people that find out what reality is (ie, realists) to within the brains of the latter (today called ”cladistics”), The dream of an explanation of what reality is has been turned into an orthogonal merry-go-round in realists minds wherein they try to find out what they believe, thinking that this is the truth.

Face it, we simply can’t find out what reality is! It is just as impossible as it is to find out what’s between past and future. We can just live, not find out what life is, because there is no single answer to this question. The problem is thus not that there isn’t any answer to the question, but that there isn’t any SINGLE answer to it.
