Nice device but I was expecting a usual cube and robotic hand manipulation. I think it cheats a bit .
But could it invent a Rubik’s cube?
Impressive (and elaborate)…. but I call a little foul on “one second”. The actual mechanics may take a moment or two, but the robot clearly had to decipher the patterns on all sides first in order to make its decision. That took much longer than 1 second (and required human assistance).
Still… better than I could have built and light years faster than me trying to figure out the cube
