(N.Morgan) There’s been a lot of debate as to the exsistance of HAARP and weather modification. I hadn’t heard of this before, until it was brought to my attention and my curiosity got the better of me and I had to research it further. We will explore a couple of other phenomenon, known as Blue Jets and Red Sprites, which may also be a product of HAARP. First, I think we must understand the basic principles of HAARP.

Physics of HAARP

What makes these ionospheric heaters so useful is that they consist of phased arrays. A phased array is a grid of antennas whose phases (timing) and amplitudes are individually adjustable. This means a great variety of different combinations can be tried out, synthesizing new and complex total wave forms. Phasing allows the output to be pointed in different directions without having to move the antennas themselves.

For anyone familiar with the works of Tom Bearden, phased arrays also allow for partial phase conjugation or canceling of the emitted electromagnetic waves. When EM waves have either (or both) of their electric and magnetic components cancelled, the contained energy takes the form of a longitudinal / potential / scalar / gravitational / temporal wave instead.

Ionospheric heaters can also “control electron density gradients and the refractive properties in selected regions of the ionosphere” meaning it can modulate ionospheric electron density. That is another powerful method of generating longitudinal waves, using the sky itself as a giant longitudinal antenna.

And so phased arrays can be used to generate an entirely different type of radiation, one that cannot be detected with standard EM-measuring instruments. Depending on their frequency and type, these waves can theoretically affect human emotion and biology, influence the weather, alter tectonic dynamics, and even manipulate our surrounding hyper-dimensional environment to allow for controlled invisibility and interdimensional maneuvering of military personnel and vehicles. In essence, everything that regular electromagnetic waves cannot really do.

This much I find plausible, that HAARP-like technologies are active on a level superseding those of regular electromagnetism, and that this is what HAARP and its sister facilities are really being used for. It is nothing the public knows about or can comprehend because this technology uses an expanded kind of physics of which only a small and sterilized subset comprises mainstream college textbooks. But it can be figured out if you have a physics background and study the implications and applications of force-free potential fields.

Now that we have the basic physics of how HAARP works, could HAARP and the Blue Jets and Red Sprites be related, somehow?

1994 video clip from which the terms “Red Sprites” and “Blue Jets” are derived. The video was made at a local TV station in Oklahoma City from example events recorded during an aircraft campaign to investigate basic properties of sprites. The clip shows examples of: (a) the first color images of sprites, (b) the first images of blue jets, (c) the first recordings of distinctive radio signatures associated with sprites, and (d) the first realistic determination of the altitude reached by sprites (~95 km). The blue jet images were obtained on 1 July 1994 over an extremely active thunderstorm that dumped 7 cm diameter hail on Texarkana, Texas/Arkansas. The horizon is slightly tilted because the aircraft were flying at close to their service ceiling of ~45,000 ft. The clip shows the two jet aircraft that were flown ~50 km apart to obtain stereoscopic views, some of the instrumentation inside the aircraft used to make the observations, and the team.

The reports based on these observations are (1) Sentman et al. (1995), “Preliminary results from the Sprites94 aircraft campaign: 1. Red Sprites”, Geophys. Res. Lett., vol 22, pp 1205-1208; and (2) Wescott et al. (1995), “Preliminary results from the Sprites94 aircraft campaign: 2. Blue jets”, Geophys. Res. Lett., vol 22, pp 1209-1212. The observations are a followup to an earlier report of aircraft observations of what subsequently became known as sprites published by Sentman and Wescott (1993), “Observations of upper atmospheric optical flashes recorded from an aircraft,” Geophys. Res. Lett., vol 20, pp 2857-2860. (Note: several word misspellings have been retained in the video captions for reasons of historical accuracy.)

Now let’s explore what all of this means. Just what are Blue Jets and Red Sprites?

Red sprites and blue jets are upper atmospheric optical phenomena associated with thunderstorms that have only recently been documented using low light level television technology.

The first images of a sprite were accidently obtained in 1989 (Franz et al., 1990). Beginning in 1990, about twenty images have been obtained from the space shuttle (Vaughan et al., 1992; Boeck et al., 1994).

Since then, video sequences of well over a thousand sprites have been captured. These include measurements from the ground ( Lyons, 1994; Winckler, 1995) and from aircraft (Sentman and Wescott, 1993; Sentman et al., 1995).

Numerous images have also been obtained from aircraft of blue jets ( Wescott et al., 1995), also a previously unrecorded form of optical activity above thunderstorms. Blue jets appear to emerge directly from the tops of clouds and shoot upward in narrow cones through the stratosphere. Their upward speed has been measured to be about 100 km per second.

Anecdotal reports of “rocket-like” and other optical emissions above thunderstorms go back more than a century (Lyons, 1994), and there have been several pilot reports of similar phenomena (Vaughan and Vonnegut, 1989). Possibly associated gamma ray bursts and TIPPS have also recently reported. Together, these phenomena suggest that thunderstorms exert a much greater influence on the middle and upper atmospheres than was previously suspected.

Many people are still skepical of HAARP and whether it is real or not. My point is this, is it didn’t exsist, why would there be a HAARP facility in Alaska? And why would the Department Of Defense have a budget, for such a program, if it was only a figment of our imaginations? Let’s not forget the patents as well.
