Lenovo Launches Flexible, Multi-mode Hybrid Laptop

“The Black, Boring ThinkPad isn’t boring anymore”, says an executive from Lenovo during last week’s launch of the Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga multimode ultrabook. With four different usage modes, including an ability to fold 360 degrees, the ThinkPad Yoga hybrid laptop is anything but boring.

“The ThinkPad Yoga can flip, fold, twist, turn, and separate to adapt to multiple usages in today’s changing work environments. The ThinkPad Yoga’s multi-mode design and compact size gives Filipino professionals an edge to take their work aspirations to the next level,” said Michael Ngan, Country General Manager, Lenovo Philippines.

Designed for mobility and adaptability, the Windows 8.1 powered ThinkPad Yoga features a 12.5 inch, 10-finger touch screen and a magnesium alloy body. Customers can opt for a Corning Gorilla Glass HD IPS or a FHD IPS display. An optional digitizer and pen is available for the FHD display.

The ThinkPad Yoga has four usage modes – Laptop Mode, Stand Mode, Tent Mode and Tablet Mode. When in Tablet mode, the system automatically lifts and locks the keys on the machine’s keyboard in place, a unique ‘lift and lock system’ introduced by Lenovo for the first time.

The ThinkPad Yoga has a five-button glass trackpad and features the infamous ThinkPad keyboard with optional backlit for some models and also an option for Near Field Communications (NFC). Customers can purchase separately the Lenovo One Link dock for additional USB ports, mini-HDMI connection, Gigabit Ethernet, etc.

The ThinkPad Yoga can be configured with up to Intel 4th generation Core i7 processors and up to 1 TB of storage. The ThinkPad Yoga is now available at all Lenovo stores with pricing that starts from Php 71,000.
