On why it is impossible to find a both consistent and unambiguous classification

Biological systematists have always wondered why it is so difficult to find a both consistent and unambiguous classification (or systematization) of biological organisms. Linné found the algorithm that accomplishes a consistent classification (ie, an orthogonal system), but this system is still ambiguous with respect to a dichotomously branching process (ie, pattern) of propagation among biological organisms. This difficulty is thus actually two different problems, whereof the problem of consistency relates to conceptualization itself (ie, the relation between words), whereas the problem of unambiguity relates to properties of reality. Of these problems, it is possible to find a consistent classification (ie, an orthogonal system like the Linnean system), but it is not possible to find an unambiguous classification with regard to the different properties of reality, ie, process and pattern, because these different properties of reality simply can’t be unambiguously classified at the same time. The reason is that they are orthogonal.

This fact can be expressed as that we simply can’t conflate in the second place what we distinguish in the first place unambiguously. Or, in simpler terms, that we can’t unambiguously conflate what we distinguish. If we indeed could (unambiguously conflate what we distinguish unambiguously), like cladistics claim we can and particle physicists claim they have, then nothing would be something (like particle physicists thus claim it is). The problem with this “fact” is that it means that the fact that time is relative to speed in space is wrong. If it is correct, then particle physicists have thus actually falsified the fact that time is relative to speed in space. It would thus indeed have turned matters up-side-down.

I thus bet millions and millions of dollars on that particle physicists have not found “Higgs particle”. The possibility that I’m wrong is nil. Particle physicists have simply screwed matters up.
