Redbus And MobiKwik Partner To Provide Bus Tickets Through Mobile Wallet

MobiKwik, an Indian online recharge platform has tied up with RedBus so that it can enable users to book bus tickets directly from the MobiKwik mobile wallet. The company’s mobile wallet lets users store money safely and pay quickly for online recharges, bill payments and online shopping.

With this partnership with Redbus, Mobikwik users can directly book Redbus tickets from their mobile wallets. In order to sweeten the deal, the company will also be giving 5% cash back on every transaction which is carried out via the wallet.

Bipin Preet Singh, founder and CEO of MobiKwik said,

“We are looking to help merchants boost the shopping experience, especially on mobile. The MobiKwik wallet is designed to deliver a fast checkout experience, irrespective of the merchant or channel.”

MobiKwik allows its users to store upto Rs.50000 in its mobile wallet so that users do not have to enter their card details every time they buy something through the mobile wallet. The wallet also allows users to transfer money to it by SMS or IVR and as such doesn’t depend exclusively on the Internet.

The mobile wallet is accessible on Android, iOS and Java phone platforms.
