The mystery with Higgs particle

So, particle physicists ”think they have got” the so-called “Higgs particle”?

If they are correct, then they have actually falsified the fact that the speed of light is the limit of speed, thereby also falsifying the fact that time is relative to speed in space, and have thus in practice stopped the world (thereby also falsifying our notion of the origin of the world, ie, the Big Bang, as well as Darwin’s theory on the origin of species). Instead, they have left us with a notion of a frozen world wherein change only occurs in our brains (see Parmenides).

The advantage with this notion is that it makes change understandable (as particle physicists also note) by transferring it to our brains. The disadvantage is that it contradicts facts. So, if particle physicists indeed have found “Higgs particle”, then they have actually demonstrated empirically that facts are contradictory, which invalidates both science and rationality in a more general sense (including their own). They have thus actually invalidated themselves.

I thus bet that particle physicists have not found Higgs particle. The question is actually not whether there is a Higgs particle or not, Bertrand Russell demonstrated already in 1901 that there isn’t any, but instead how particle physicists shall climb up from the hole they put themselves in by stating that they “think they have got it”. But, I guess this is actually why they didn’t state that they “have found it”; this statement would have closed the door they know they need to continue requesting money for expansion of their collider. Less definitely stating that they “think they have got it” leaves the door open for a change in their opinion as to exactly what they have found, and they can then continue searching for Higgs particle. For them, Higgs particle is the Holy Graal to get financing of their work as well as their academic careers.

I thus bet that particle physicists will soon withdraw their “thought” about what they found, just to a little later again state that they “think they have got it”. The “think” will, however, never turn into a “have”, because belief will forever be separated from knowledge.

The mystery with Higgs particle, like with God, is not whether it exists or not, but how we can fall into a belief in it.
