Until a few years ago the word “transhumanism” was unheard of, until movies like Avatar, Bicentennial Man, the Terminator, X-Men, and recently Transcendence arrived on the scene. Our generation is witnessing the rise of this radical social movement known as transhumanism and many of them are looking to the future with religious fervor. In New York City’s Lincoln Center world-renowned scientific thinkers, inventors, philanthropists, entrepreneurs, and spiritual leaders met for the Global Future 2045 International Congress. This meeting, also known as GF2045, was part of the broad and comprehensive endeavor that began in 2011. Dmitry Itskov, a Russian multimillionaire, birthed the 2045 Initiative who’s goal it was to create a social evolution of the human race through transhumanism and cybernetic immortality.
This organization along with DARPA, the National Intelligence Council, Department of Defense, and other governmental agencies are now working towards specific accomplishments in the near future:
- Virtual Reality- They are seeking to create technologies where persons can exist in a virtual world similar to that of the Matrix.
- Cryogenics- People frozen in hopes of being revived through technological advances in the future. Many believe given time through nanotechnology they can be revived.
- Gene Therapy- Replacing bad genes with good genes and RNA interference. Scientist believe they can “play God” by manipulating the very thing that makes us who we are. They are currently manipulating animal genes and human genes.
- Cybernetics
- Mega scale engineering
- Super intelligent machines- Artificial intelligence with self-taught networks.
- Personality pills- Through drug and gene therapy these pills will help you overcome shyness, jealousy, increase creativity, and enhance emotions, etc.
- Space Colonization- Expensive, but likely.
- Molecular Nanotechnology and Self Replicating Robots- This technology is the hypothetical design and manufacture of machines to atomic-scale precision. They can build, replicate, configure, perform surgeries, and more.
- Mind Control and Telepathic capabilities
- Extended Life Spans- This could be accomplished through gene-therapy and manipulation.
- Super Soldiers- Soldiers with unusual super strength, agility, and speed.

At the core of Transhumanism movement lies the belief of singularity—the exponential increase in technological advances so rapid that the human mind is unable to grasp its implications. It’s comparable to the Christian anticipation of the Second Coming of Jesus Christ.
The transhumanist agenda serves as a reminder of what the human race is without the blood of Christ–an enemy of God. This is Humanism – a corrupt branch on gods design.
I’m not sure of what this “better plan” of God is. You have to be very careful of what you blame God for or what words you put in his mouth.
I know there are a lot of human manipulations going on now but I don’t see any efforts on the part of God to prevent this.
Will he just wait and then destroy the whole human race again with exception of a handful of people? He was credited with doing this with the flood.
Is this what we want from God?
There have been many manipulations of humans which we could refer to as “upgrades” and the story of Adam and Eve could be considered the first one or the major one that created thinking humans such as we have today.
The most likely force behind these manipulations is the aliens. Whether they represent the will of God and could be considered the same as angels of old or if they had other motivations.
(Although these manipulations, such as at the Garden of Eden that brought us out of our fog, seem to be counter to the wishes of what we refer to as God.)
We need to reach out and extend our knowledge and find out what’s really going on. For a start we need to find out more about the aliens. Did they actually create us? Were they working on God’s behalf?
What’s next for us, enlightenment? Maybe we need to get beyond this fog that so-called religions have kept us in to keep us from obtaining knowledge and becoming free!
