NVIDIA starts rolling out Android 5.0 Lollipop for the Shield Tablet LTE
When some think about Thanksgiving they think about food, beverages and family that they probably can’t stand but are forced to spend time with. There are those rare families that genuinely do like each other, but more often than not, you aren’t always thrilled for the holiday’s. How does one get through it? Gaming is one way and the NVIDIA Shield Tablet LTE is a great way to get away with it at other people houses. NVIDIA is rolling out a special little treat that should help you get through the food and antics of your crazy Aunt. Starting now, Android 5.0 Lollipop is available for all NVIDIA Shield Tablet LTE owners.
Along with the OS update you will also get an enhanced version of NVIDIA’s drawing app, Dabbler, the GRID gaming service (free through June 30th, 2015), and a slew of new titles. If you have a Shield Tablet LTE then you should jump on Wi-Fi and see if the update is waiting for you to download and install. Be sure to have well over 50% battery life before you begin. Once it gets install, let us know how it works out.
