This video came out yesterday. Personally, I find it more than a little shocking. One YouTube channel advises caution, saying that the image featured in the video linked below might not be what it seems. But it is from a legitimate CERN url. Perhaps it could have been photoshopped? I don’t know. My sense is that it hasn’t been. Even my skeptical son admitted to seeing the face within the image of the proton beam – actually there are many faces in the image if you look closely enough. So this heart-stopping strangeness combined with the discovery of the mystery object inside the vacuum tube…I don’t know – but when I look at the faces, tears suddenly well up in my eyes. And I’m considered empathic, so when waves of emotion come over me like this, feelings which correspond to an image or event – I take it to mean that I’m witnessing something real.
