Addicted To Retail (ATR) presents: 306 YONGE, Canada’s first Jordan-only retail store activated for NBA All-Star weekend.
With a growing fervor for basketball and sneaker culture in Canada, Jordan brand tasked SET Creative to help feed Canada’s insatiable hunger during All-Star Weekend by creating a pop-up at Toronto’s busiest intersection, Yonge & Dundas. Jordan brand challenged them to create a dynamic yet lasting impression on both their existing and newfound fans.
Following a successful All-Star weekend opening, 306 YONGE, Canada’s first Jordan-only retail location, announces plans to reopen this summer.
In partnership with Foot Locker, the permanent space will expand both its footprint and new customer experiences that build upon the opening weekend buzz, which included key shoe drops and visits by Jordan Brand family members. Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, CP3, Jimmy Butler, Kawhi Leonard, Victor Oladipo, and LaMarcus Aldridge all stopped by, but it was a special opening-day visit by Michael Jordan – the man who inspired the brand over 30 years ago – that incited the most excitement.
The Air Jordan store is called 306 Yonge inspired by the address to the store which is a theme for Nike and their locations.
