ECOCITY madness grips the United States

“Sustainability.”

It’s the big Green buzzword for the 21st century. Sounds nice, hard to pin down.

What it really means is more power and money to the Green-Left.

Al Gore is keynoting a meeting of Green campaigners from around the world this week in Melbourne, Australia, and CFACT is there!

Gore wasted no time trashing President Trump’s efforts to secure energy independence for America.

He then went on to call for massive new spending on wind, solar, and batteries in South Australia, even though those same misguided efforts plunged South Australia into darkness last year. Al just never learns, does he?

The goal of the “ECOCITY summit” is to encourage local government officials to place their authority and budgets at the service of Green campaigners.

This is particularly crucial in the United States where the Greens are desperately seeking alternate routes to advance their agenda after President Trump curtailed President Obama’s climate and energy policies.

Left-leaning mayors like New York’s Bill DeBlasio are all too willing to comply, but their bloated budgets and struggling communities can ill afford the waste.
