Search Team Uncovers Tunnel Leading To Women’s Hostel Inside Dera Premises

A fresh case has been registered against Dera Sacha Sauda today after more than 80 cartons of explosives were found inside the campus and to what the sect says were used for making crackers.

In the second day of search operations two secret tunnels were also found linking to Gurmeet Ram Rahim’s private residence with a women’s hostel and other opening on a muddy path some 5 km away from the premises.

Government spokesperson Satish Mishra said, “We found a window-like path leading from Dera Awas to Sadhvi Niwas. Team is investigating.”

The teams of officials and policemen with hundreds of paramilitary troops seized yesterday a huge amount of cash including the banned currency which were in circulation before November 8, plastic money, hard discs, computers and a Toyota Lexus luxury SUV.

Over a dozen locksmiths, about fifty videographers and several digging machines too accompanied the search team that also found hundreds of pairs of shoes, colorful caps and designer clothes of Ram Rahim.

The Dera Sacha Seva headquarter is in Sirsa, Haryana, and houses a 7-star MSG resort that is equipped with replicas of Taj Mahal, Krmlin, Eiffel Tower and Disney World.

The premises is very huge and is spread in an area of 700 square feet. The complete search operation may take some more time.

Ram Rahim was convicted of rape on August 25 and following the pronouncement violence broke in Sirsa and Panchkula leaving at least 38 people dead.
