The Dolmens Of Russia | Caucasus Mountains | Mystery Myth And Legend

The mysterious ancient megalithic Dolmens of Russia’s Caucasus Mountains and the mystery, myths and legends associated with them. Thosands of these ancient megalithic structures have been found highin the Caucasus mountains of Russia, a place historically little impacted by man.

These mysterious  dolmens are located in the Causasus mountain area of Russia , but have also been found the world over.  Euope , Africa and Asia are among those places with over 35,000 of them having been found in Korea.

Dolmens are considered burial tombs, they usually have at least two vertical
megalithic stones supporting a large flat horizontal megalith stone, although
many more intricate and complex ones have been found.

There are many myths and legends associated with the dolmens,
and locals have preserved those legends. One of
those legends credits the build of the megalithic structures to
giants who they say built them for dwarf people.

Others believe the dolmens mark areas on earth where there are special energies,
areas where earths energies can be channeled.

Aside from Russia dolmens have been found throughout the world and intriguingly
they share many similarities, a fact that perplexes. 

What made so many ancient civilizations feel compelled to build these megalithic
structures that we find today around the world ? Some of which we cannot even
begin to constuct ourselves, even in this day and age with all the modern
technology we have available to us today.
