The Obama EPA claims had no historical or scientific basis. The frequency and areal coverage of 90 degree days in the Northeast have been declining since the 19th century, and have been near record lows in recent years.

Autumn and winter snow cover has been increasing across the northern hemisphere for 50 years, indicating that cold Arctic air is penetrating further and further south.
