MOVIE REVIEW: "The Road" (2008)

In this week’s Doomer Fiction film review, we are taking the time to examine
“The Road” (2008) Blu-ray (DVD version), which is probably one of the better post-apocalyptic films I have ever
had the pleasure of watching. It is something of a masterpiece that is,
at turns, heart-warming, terrifying, shocking, sad, and appalling. What
more could one ask of a single piece of fiction?

True to the Cormac McCarthy novel it is based upon, we never learn very
much about the background or identities of the father and son upon which
