change of plans

well, I had intended to go down to the county seat and file a letter of intent to operate under a business name from the farm so I can open a business account at the bank today.  Something came up.  The son needed my truck for a while.  Looks like he  might be employed soon.  That is a GOOD thing.  I’ve been operating here by robbing Peter to pay Paul and it’s going to bite me.  The off farm job nets me around $300 less a month than I need just to cover the bills and without the farmers market sales, it’s been rough around here.    So, the son getting a job will help out greatly.

Still waiting on bunnie kits.  Since I lost the laptop and wasn’t smart enough to keep duplicate notes on paper around here, the actual kindle date is a little fuzzy in my brain.  Only so much room in the old memory warehouse and I may need to dump all my Led Zepplin lyrics to make room, LOL

Delta goat is huge preggers and I’m watching her as close as I can for signs of impending birth.  She always sneaks the kids in on me and has in the past birthed easy enough.  Sis is almost dried off and she’s looking pretty wide too.  Hope she has better luck this time around.  Fluffy looks suspiciously preggers too.  I was hoping she would not come into heat this year being less than a year old, but I suspect she did and is also bred.  That could be ugly, just have to wait and see.

Other than that, it’s business as usual around here…
