What Happens When People Can’t Get The #1 Most Prescribed Drug In The World After SHTF

I stumbled across this article, and felt the need to share what was on our local news yesterday….
ORLANDO, Fla.

Many WESH 2 News viewers are outraged after WESH 2 Investigates discovered real patients, in real pain, with real prescriptions are being denied when they try to get their medications filled.

“When you’re in pain the depression and the pain overwhelms you so much it cripples you,” Teri Green said. “I want to scream because the quality of my life is gone.”

Green said getting out of bed is a challenge. She suffers from osteoperosis, lung disease and broken bones. Morphine, prescribed by her doctor, is the only thing that makes life livable. But last month, the nation’s largest drug chain, Walgreens, refused to fill her legal prescription and refused to say why.

“What’s the point of getting up? I hurt too bad to do anything. It’s not right, it’s not fair,” Green said.

After WESH 2 Investigates discovered pharmacists were refusing to dispense real prescriptions for certain pain pills, we heard from hundreds of viewers experiencing the same problem.

Nearly 400 people commented on our Facebook page. Dozens wrote to WESH 2 with similar stories, like Suzy, who said she has stage four breast cancer and can’t get her doctor-prescribed oxycodone, telling us, “This is the most frustrating thing in the world to deal with. I have no idea where I’m going to get my next prescription filled. They are making us feel like drug addicts.”

Vicki said, “My husband was in a bad car accident last July. He suffered four ruptured discs in his neck and two in his back. His doctor said they are inoperable and prescribed pain meds. But nobody will fill them.”

Kristy posted on Twitter, “Thank you for bringing attention to this subject. No one should be treated this way we’re already suffering enough.”

One local pharmacist said three Drug Enforcement Administration agents told him not to fill prescriptions from certain zip codes, not to dispense pills over a certain quantity, and not to fill certain drug combinations, even if they are legally prescribed.

The DEA denies that but would not comment on why so many patients are having trouble getting the medicine they need.

For any brain-dead anti-narcotic sheep who has never suffered real pain, I say, ‘congratulations’, you’ve led a far more protected life than I, and many others have. Personally, I’ve broken 14 bones, had 112 stitches in my life. I’ve been lucky to not have any serious diseases (cancer, Crones’ disease, Leukemia, etc.), but i know those who have.

For those who have never known pain, real pain, pain that an icepack won’t stop, I ask you to walk out into your garage or yard, take a 3-lb mechanic’s hammer with you, take your left shoe off, and now with all the force you have, crush your big toe, either will suffice. Now, after you scream, cry, howl, scream and cry some more (for about an hour or so), I can only assume the ambulance will get there as a result of some neighbor calling them for you. If you don’t have close-by neighbors that would do this, good luck on the crawl back to the house, you aren’t going to walk or hop there now – so hopefully you didn’t walk out too far to hit your toe to start with.

Now, once you go to the hospital (and by chance, the ambulance EMT’s didn’t already give you a morphine shot), you are going to lie and say a stone fell on your foot while working in the yard (so you don’t end up going to the loony bin after treatment for the toe). Doc is going to look at your foot, tell you that ‘your toe can’t be reset, it’s just going to have to heal’, and he’s going to give you a 7-10 day bottle of – you guessed it – HYDROCODONE, for the intermittent pain of the next few days. Don’t assume this is going to get you through that full month of pain, but it will keep you from going insane with that pain for the next 7-10 days, until you are down to merely a solid THROB of pain.

Your ignorant statement, ‘easy way to fix this – DON’T HIT YOUR TOE’ doesn’t cut it for those with Leukemia, cancer, Crones, etc. So save the wise cracks. Tell that car wreck victim that just broke their pelvis to ‘suck it up, take a motrin’. Now, look your wife in the eyes, and say the same thing.

Wait, I know, let’s make hydrocodone illegal, so no one can get it. I’ll just go down to JIMMY’S LIQUOR STORE and get a fifth of Vodka and suck it down until I don’t care anymore, then realizing I’m out, drive down there again and buy another one – damn your children on their way home from school or the fact that I am drunk, I need pain relief, and well, I guess it’s vodka or nothing.

See, this is the trap, once again, of pain-free brain-dead liberals who have led such a protected life that they’ve never known real pain to know a real medical tool when they see it.

Yes, we have idiot over-prescribing doctors that should be de-licensed, and addicts that need detox, not another prescription. BUT, the next time your wife gets sick with pneumonia and can’t quit coughing until her ribs crack after 2-3 weeks of it, you’ll probably wish you had a HYDROCODONE-based cough syrup that could stop her cough so she could rest. See, this specific drug comes with a LOT of applications that really help the very sick. But, what do you care, right? It’s all about a subject you know nothing of – and as it has never touched your life, you are very content in meddling with (and dictatorily controlling) others that suffer with pain you have never had to imagine.

What a hypocrite.

Google medicinal purposes of california poppy (flower ) & morning glories… Where do you think they get meds.. Lol if more people knew big pharm. Would go broke. Doctors, drugstores are not needed.
