Ears, Tears, and More Weight Gone!

I promised an update today and things have been crazy around our house. Two nights ago, this little one woke up with a terrible ear ache. I rushed out of the house to get him to the closest pediatrician that was open late.

At 11:00 pm, we found ourselves sitting in a doctor’s office. Thanks goodness they were open that late! The doctor took one look at his ear and said it was a pretty bad ear infection and we caught the other ear just in time.

We have been taking antibiotics since and have been doing very well. Luckily he did not run a fever, so he went to school the next day. I am thankful he loves school enough to beg to go! He also begged to go to football practice, but we kept him home from that. We want him well enough to play his game on Saturday.

He was excited to have boys’ night with his daddy while I taught a Zumba® class.

Leggings from My Protein….Found {HERE}!

I got my new Zumba® shirt in the mail this week. It has my favorite quote on it! I wore my new leggings from My Protein with it to class. They were so comfortable and soft. The material is lightweight and holds everything in place just right. I don’t normally pick bright prints in leggings, but these grew on me the more I wore them! Now I just want to collect more…. My little one is feeling much better now and we are looking forward to an action packed weekend together!

And for those of you who care to know…. I’ve lost another pound this week. The weight is coming off slowly this time, but I can tell my body is healing. I want permanent weight loss, not temporary. I want to do this the healthy way without stress. I’ve lived through counting calories and huge restrictions. I am tired of that way of life. I want to enjoy life and all of the things that come with it. I am an emotional eater. It’s just who I am. Instead of binging on unhealthy treats, I am learning to enjoy food along the way. I can be emotional and still have healthier treats.

I am putting together recipes, ideas, and tips for you. I want you to be successful and happy in your weight loss journeys. I struggled for too long to lose weight and keep it off. It’s time to change things and I want to do that together. Check back towards the end of the month for more information and details.
