The Last Days – How to Survive the End of Days

Without a doubt, we live in some unsettling times that look a lot like the Last Days as predicted to come in several chapters of the Bible. People around the world are starting to realize that our days on Earth may truly be numbered.

At least if you live in the United States, as a nuclear attack on the United States appears to be prophesied in multiple books of the Bible.

What — Hard to believe? I explain further down how a handful of verses in Revelation most likely refer to the United States of America and then show how I came to this conclusion — or, better said, the Lord simply opened my eyes to it, which, if I am correct in what I write below, is the only way then that I could have come to this “conclusion”.

A nuclear attack on the US — the first major end times event?

Looking at Bible prophecy, a nuclear attack on the U.S. appears to be the first major event to occur in the end times, before most of the world even realizes that we are really in the ‘last days’. This event takes everyone by surprise.

The Anti-Christ then comes to power. Considering the current state of world affairs, my guess is that the Anti-Christ will turn out to be a Muslim — or more specifically, the “Mahdi” that millions of fundamentalist Muslims are looking forward to with great anticipation, as has been spoken of many times by Iran’s Ayatollahs and of course, former President Ahmadinejad.

With the rise of Radical Islam, with the rise of Iran, and the fact that Islamic terrorists would like to kill millions of Americans with nuclear weapons (this is a fact, they would certainly love to), makes this an event that appears as though it really could occur on our watch.

Not only that, but the former President of Iran — a Shiite Muslim who has stated in speeches that Islam will destroy the West — is but one of many “anti-christ” pawns playing a unique role this radicalized rise of Islam. Watch video>>

Are We in The End of Days? Let’s Look at the Evidence

False Religion – The ‘New Age’ movement has grown to encompass hundreds of millions of followers around the world. What was once considered the occult, has now gone mainstream in a very big way. New Agers tell us that God is everywhere, God is love, and we are all one brotherhood of different religions, and to embrace this, and that the future is full of prosperity and pleasure.

However, we turn on the news and every day we are faced with very real, very severe threats from nuclear terrorists, severe weather unlike any in recorded history, and a planet that is changing very quickly for the worse (and we’re told will never be the same).

Nuclear Terrorists – ‘Al-Qaeda nukes already in the U.S.’ read news reports pointing to more and more clues that Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations have the goal to get their hands on nuclear weapons, and then get those nuclear weapons into the United States. Iran’s alliance Venezuela, and of course rumors former Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez of working hand in hand with drug cartels, show that terrorists getting nuclear weapons into the U.S. really isn’t that far fetched. Drug cartels have shown that they can smuggle just about anything into the U.S.

Of course there are the rumors of nuclear suitcase bombs having been smuggled in already, and also rumors that hundreds (perhaps thousands) of Islamic radicals are already here in the United States and they’re just biding their time for the right day to launch an attack. Many communicate on internet websites, and in the same way that college kids can launch a flash mob in a shopping mall, these Islamic radicals can also plot their own flash mobs, but flash mobs with bombs, machine guns, and maybe even “dirty” bombs and biological weapons of mass destruction.

This is why we continue to hear month after month about the concern of a terrorist attack. It’s no secret. We can see a large dangerous storm shaping up before our eyes.

Even if these reports are exaggerated rumors, the threat is still the same. Nowadays, it’s not simply Al Qaeda to be concerned about. As mentioned, we have to face nations such as Iran, who have more reach, more people, and more money. And then, of course, there’s ISIS.

No matter how you look at it, doesn’t look good for America. The following news reports show that our government is concerned as well, and rightfully so:

The data is clear. The threat is very real. If you read the first article above, our government believes that there is such a high probability of an attack, and one on Washington D.C., that if happens the U.S. government does not expect any leaders in Washington D.C. to survive.

No President. No Vice-President. No Congress. No Pentagon.

Who do they expect to run the country? Wal-Mart?

Massive Species Extinction – We’re told we face a massive extinction of species, and that by the year 2048 that so many fish will have died in the seas that we will no longer have a seafood industry.

We’re told that 80% of our honeybee population has disappeared and this could have huge impacts on our crops, which rely on bee pollination. Without honeybees, we can’t grow food.

UFOs – On top of all this, we’re told about reports of UFOs hovering over our cities and airports. Arizona Republican Governor Fife Symington, III, once the mayor of Phoenix, is the latest credible witness to come forth and say that he witnessed the 1997 UFO that tens of thousands of others from Phoenix witnessed as well.

And somehow Dan Akroyd, of all people, is the only one to have an actual live video of the UFO that appeared over Chicago’s O’Hare Intl. Airport on November 7, 2006, reports of which were collaborated by dozens of airport employees and broadcast on world news.

What the heck is going on?

Well, if we don’t want to worry ourselves, then the thing to do is sign up with a New Age movement, and try to harmonize and become one with the universe and the spirit world. If we would just open up our minds to our ‘spirit guides’, they would love to share wisdom with us and direction for our lives.

Aren’t these the same ‘spirit guides’ that occultists used to talk to with their Ouija boards?

Hundreds of millions of people around the world have bought into the New Age movement. It’s so believable. It tells people everything they want to hear. They believe in reincarnation. They believe in psychics, spirits, and mediums. They believe that there is no Hell and there is no sin.

They do not believe in Jesus. They reject the Bible.

They also believe in UFOs.

In fact, it’s no secret that tons of New Agers follow UFO reports almost religiously. It seems that in recent years the world has been getting ‘warmed up’ to the idea of aliens visiting our planet from some other world, and there is probably going to be some kind of ‘alien landing’ soon. The stage has definitely been set.

Now, there’s nothing wrong with believing in UFOs. There’s clear evidence that these things really do appear, and have been appearing throughout history.

UFOs are there, no doubt about it.

So the question is, who is making these things “appear” and then disappear?

Historically, civilizations like the ancient Egyptians have carvings that look like UFOs, and ancient civilizations in South America built what appear to be large landing sites in the shapes of various animals, that coincidentally can only be seen from the sky, where UFOs are thought to fly overhead.

What’s the connection to the ‘last days’? Well, in past centuries, UFOs seem to be related to civilizations that worshipped multiple gods.

According to the Bible — which I cite throughout the rest of this article — any god that is not God, is a false god, and in the ‘last days’, false gods make a comeback.

What will happen to the United States in the ‘Last Days’?

The United States seems to fill a unique spot in the Book of Revelation.

It fits the description of a wealthy superpower that is destroyed by its enemies. In fact God says in Revelation that he lets its enemies destroy this country to bring about his wrath.

In Revelation, this wealthy superpower is called Mystery Babylon the Great.

Until the fall of Mystery Babylon the Great, the Anti-Christ is still non existent in the world. (though some believe Mystery Babylon the Great doesn’t fall until the end of the Tribulation, I believe it actually falls at or near the beginning, and I cite a careful study of scripture in Revelation as evidence — more on that below). In fact no one really realizes that the predicted Day of the Lord (we’re talking serious planet changing wrath) is on the horizon.

Up to this point the Bible (in chapter 24 of Matthew) only mentions earthquakes, famines, wars, and rumors of war in far off lands, and describes these as being ‘birth pains’ to represent that the end times are starting out and the Day of the Lord and God’s judgments on the world are quickly approaching. (Don’t we see that today?)

The Anti-Christ (which means ‘anti Christian’) and the foreign god who gives him his power, still have not been established. No one knows that doom is imminent for Mystery Babylon the Great (except of course the enemies plotting to destroy her).

At the height of her power, Mystery Babylon the Great is described as a wealthy superpower that sits on many waters, and has many peoples and languages, and is responsible for pumping out sexual immorality on the world, as well as the world’s luxuries. This country is called the mother of all prostitutes.

Revelation 17:1,2 – “Come, I will show you the judgment of the notorious prostitute who sits on many waters. The kings of the earth committed sexual immorality with her, and those who live on the earth became drunk on the wine of her sexual immorality.”

Judgment for Mystery Babylon the Great – as described in the verse above – comes as follows:

Within one hour, on what is just your ordinary day for most of the world, Mystery Babylon the Great is suddenly consumed by fire – by her enemies who have the assistance of a ‘foreign god’. God says he allows this destruction to happen to bring about his wrath. In other words, God doesn’t destroy Mystery Babylon the Great – he let’s her enemies destroy her.

Revelation 17:16, 17 – The 10 horns you saw, and the beast, will hate the prostitute. They will make her desolate and naked, devour her flesh, and burn her up with fire. For God has put it into their hearts to carry out His plan by having one purpose, and to give their kingdom to the beast until God’s words are accomplished.

The fall of Mystery Babylon the Great is a major event in Bible prophecy, with its destruction specifically prophesied (or, as I believe, alluded to in prophecy) in both Old Testament and New Testament books. These include Revelation (Chapter 17-19 give specific mentions) and Jeremiah (Chapter 50, 51) and Isaiah (Chapter 13, 47) both give what I believe are “allusions” to this future country that will suddenly be destroyed in the last days of the world.

Though the Book of Daniel does not specifically name Mystery Babylon the Great, it does seem to focus on the enemy who conquers her:

Daniel 8:24, 25 – His power will be great, but it will not be his own. He will cause terrible destruction and succeed in whatever he does. He will destroy the powerful along with the holy people. He will cause deceit to prosper through his cunning and by his influence, and in his own mind he will make himself great. In a time of peace, he will destroy many…

Interpretation – Daniel is most likely talking about the fall of Mystery Babylon the Great, and the rise to power of the infamous Anti-Christ, as he is writing about an ‘end times’ vision he received from God, which coincidentally coincides with end times visions written of in Jeremiah, Isaiah, and Revelation (see above).

The Book of Revelation reveals that the kingdom of the beast will rise to power by defeating the prostitute.

Most likely the ‘Anti-Christ’ will not seem like some devil-incarnate as portrayed so often in Hollywood. Technically, the Dalai Lama (Buddhist) and President of Iran (Muslim) are both Anti-Christs.

Why does God let Mystery Babylon the Great’s enemies destroy her?

Mystery Babylon the Great, the mother of all prostitutes who sits on many waters, is described as a country that pumps out sexual immorality on the world.

If the United States fits this role as prostitute it’s because our country as a whole has a reputation for doing ‘anything’ for money; on top of that, the United States pumps out more pornography (sexual immorality) than any other country, and gave birth to the modern day pornographic industry.

The United States stands for freedom — for example, the right to freedom of speech and freedom of religion. While freedom for all people was supposed to be a good thing (which is what our country was founded on), unfortunately freedom has been the gateway to widespread sin — I’m sure our founding fathers would have had a few more laws, had they known that American culture would spiral down into severe moral decay two hundred years in the future.

Is ‘Lady Liberty’ the Biblical ‘Whore of Babylon’?

Now regarding freedom of religion, in God’s eyes this means the freedom for millions of Americans to follow false religions, like ‘New Age’ teachings, which according to the Bible is Satan-worship.

How’s that for a brutal wake up call. Millions of Americans follow New Age teachings.

Millions of Americans unknowingly follow Satan.

Revelation Chapter 18

This entire chapter in the Book of Revelation is focused on one thing – the fall of Mystery Babylon the Great.

“He cried in a mighty voice: It has fallen, Babylon the Great has fallen! She has become a dwelling for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, and a haunt for every unclean and despicable beast. For all the nations have drunk the wine of her sexual immorality, which brings wrath. The kings of the earth have committed sexual immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown wealthy from her excessive luxury.” (Revelation 18:2,3)

After Mystery Babylon the Great falls, now the world leader reveals his secret – that he has the help of a foreign god. At this point, perhaps through threat of similar attack, he keeps the rest of the world in check (for a time).

If the United States falls, who is in charge?

“The 10 horns you saw are 10 kings who have not received a kingdom, but they will receive authority as kings with the beast for one hour.” (Rev 17:20)

More than likely this verse means that the world leader who conquers Mystery Babylon the Great will promise 10 of its own people or “allied nations” leadership positions, and give them authority over the people that have been conquered. It could also mean that political leaders of Mystery Babylon the Great, who have surrendered to the world leader after seeing many of their own cities consumed by fire, agree to fill these spots.

Christians persecuted

The Bible predicts that most of the world will reject it’s teachings about God, and his son Jesus, and that in the Last Days, Christians will be violently persecuted with many losing their lives (being beheaded as specifically stated in Revelation) for their faith.

Living in the United States, it’s hard to imagine Christians facing wide spread persecution, however if the United States falls to a world leader, backed by a foreign god, this persecution could suddenly happen overnight.

In many other countries of the world, Christians already face widespread persecution. Today, in the Middle East, ISIS is slaughtering and beheading entire towns and villages of Christians and in many places there Christianity has disappeared.

Who is the Anti-Christ?

Read that verse from the Book of Daniel again.

Can we apply it to today?

The former President of Iran is claimed that he was enriching Uranium to produce nuclear energy for peaceful purposes and Iran’s new president and Ayatollahs continue the claim.

What if this turns out to be a lie, and Iran is really producing nuclear energy so they can make nuclear weapons?

What if Iran already has nuclear weapons, and this is just a smoke screen to buy time until they can use them suddenly?

Iran is estimated to be behind 85% of terrorist attacks. Iran might say it’s seeking peace and brotherhood between nations (words or Ahmadinejad as reported), but is that really the case?

Coincidentally, peace and brotherhood are the same things that New Agers are preaching to the world.

While the former President of Iran was smiling for the cameras and releasing 15 captive British sailors, he and his government may have other plans, which include connections to Al-Qaeda and Al-Qaeda’s alleged connections to organized crime in Mexico, and the news reports that there are already Al-Qaeda nukes in the U.S.

The final question is – if the President of Iran had the ability to destroy the United States, for example by ordering terrorists to drive suitcase nukes into multiple cities, and giving the word to detonate them at a specific time, so they all go off at once — would he do it?

If he believes that Islam is destined to destroy the West, he just might.

Coincidentally, he does believe that Islam is destined to destroy the West, and has essentially stated this in many speeches. So where does that put us?

Recap What We Know So Far

• Anti-Christian leader backed by foreign god – It’s a safe assumption that the anti-Christian leader will not seem like the Hollywood Anti-Christ (meaning, the ‘demonic’ Anti-Christ we’ve seen portrayed in so many movies).

• Mystery Babylon the Great taken over – Conquered in Revelation, its people are made to take the mark of the ‘Beast’ and to worship the ‘Dragon’.

It’s hard to imagine a modern day world leader wanting the conquered people of USA to worship him, – however, if he is possessed by Satan, which would happen if he is involved with spirit channeling (contacting the 12th and ‘hidden imam’ holy to Shiites), then it’s easy to imagine. Or, as stated above, the Mahdi is going to be a real figure who appears, something that we in the modern world would consider a “supernatural” figure.

Perhaps some kind of demonic ‘god’. Why do I suggest this? In the Bible, in Revelation 11, the Two Witnesses (supernatural servants of God making war on Earth against the forces of the Anti-Christ — who may in fact be a return to earth of Old Testament prophets Moses and Elijah) face off with what appears to be another supernatural figure, the “Dragon”… see Revelation 11 to read about this future event still to come).

It’s also possible that the President of Iran will simply become the ‘False Prophet’ described in Revelation, and that another world leader – such as Russian President Vladmir Putin – will be unveiled as the ‘Anti-Christ’.

Who knows… anything can happen, and whatever ends up happening most of the world is going to be terrified, and take the mark of the beast. They will go to their deaths never knowing the truth about God, Jesus Christ, and the future God intends for his chosen children and this planet.

How to Survive the Last Days

As we cite the Bible for information on the Last Days, we will also cite the Bible for information on how to survive the last days, if you live in Mystery Babylon the Great, that is consumed by fire and falls to its enemies.

Quite a few of the ‘holy people’ are reported by the Bible to be killed in the coming Tribulation as a result of the figure many people think of as ‘the Anti-Christ’, so you may be one of them. In this case, I believe that means that these are people were not chosen by God for the rapture, perhaps because they simply have not become Christians yet.

So how does a person make the long awaited rapture, that many Christians are looking forward to, when they are rescued from the coming wrath that will occur during the Tribulation? A day that the Bible says Jesus calls us into the sky, not only those who sleep in the ground, but also those who are alive on the earth at his coming?

To make the rapture of the church, you need to be saved by God’s grace. This means that you believe in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, and that Jesus died for your sins, and that you are forgiven. You must pray and ask for the Holy Spirit to come into your heart. You must be sincere when you ask for this.

Now that you’ve been forgiven for your sins, and you have the Holy Spirit, you must choose to live your life as God wants you to live it. In obedience to his Word, the Bible, reflected in a true love and desire to follow God and everything he has called you to.

God’s thoughts are above our thoughts, and he wants us to think like him, and in doing so be like Christ. His Holy Spirit will enable you to escape the corruption of the world and the evil desires of the world by the renewing of your mind.

This planet is going downhill fast. God wants you to have nothing to do with it. Jesus said:

John 14:1-6 – Your heart must not be troubled. Believe in God; believe also in me. In my father’s house are many dwelling places; if not, I would have told you. I am going away to prepare a place for you. If I go away and prepare a place for you, I will come back and receive you to myself, so that where I am you may be also… I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the father except through me.”

Escape the Mark of the Beast

After Mystery Babylon the Great falls (Revelation 14), the next event that takes place in the next verse is that the people are told that they must have a mark placed on their right hand and forehead in order to buy or sell commerce, etc. and live under the new ruler. Those who refuse the mark will more than likely be killed or placed in captivity, or take to the mountains, and survive off the land.

Revelation 14:9 – “If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, he will also drink the wine of God’s wrath… There is no rest day or night for those who worship the beast and his image, or anyone who receives the mark of his name. Here is the endurance of the saints, who keep the commandments of God and the faith in Jesus.”

The Rapture

If you were God, and you wanted to do something to really have an effect on the world, the Rapture without a doubt, is a very powerful message.

At a time when most of the world has turned its back on God, after God has given so many warnings, and given so much information ahead of time about his plans for the world, the Rapture is God ripping the carpet out from under the feet of the people of Planet Earth and basically saying, “Idiots, don’t say I didn’t warn you.”

God’s holy people, the Christians purest in faith, will suddenly disappear, as God has marked them with a spiritual seal, and they will enter the paradise that God has prepared.

There is also scripture that teaches that the dead will also be resurrected on that day and raised up, and also enter the same paradise.

Matthew 24:37-42 – “As the days of Noah were, so the coming of the Son of Man will be. For in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying, and giving in marriage, until the day Noah boarded the ark. They didn’t know until the flood came and swept them all away. So this is the way the coming of the Son of Man will be: Then two men will be in the field: one will be taken and one left. Two women will be grinding at the mill: one will be taken and one left. Therefore be alert, since you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.”

The Great Tribulation

If you miss the rapture — if you wake up one day and your kids are gone — there’s still hope for you, however you still must be saved by faith in Christ. But soon it’s going to get rough as the world enters into the Great Tribulation, which will be marked by violent upheaval in the world (on a scale never before previously known), the persecution of Christians (these are the Christians who become Christians after witnessing their friends and family members disappear in the Rapture as well as the current “lukewarm” Christians that God decides are too lukewarm for the rapture — see Revelation 3:16 to hear God’s specific warnings about lukewarm faith and how it disgusts him). Finally, as stated above, the Great Tribulation will be marked by the sudden and terrifying reign of the Anti-Christ and the foreign god that gives him his power.

Revelation 13:9 – If anyone has an ear, he should listen: If anyone is destined for captivity, into captivity he goes. If anyone is to be killed with a sword, with a sword he will be killed. Here is the endurance and the faith of the saints.

The Day of the Lord

In the wake of the judgments that will be coming upon the world, the Bible tells us that God is in control of everything that is happening. Devastating natural disasters. War on an unprecedented scale, more than likely involving nuclear weapons. Billions perish.

However, God shortens this period of war and natural disaster as he says none would be left alive on Earth if he didn’t step in.

With so many natural disasters taking place, many people will finally surrender to God, and accept that he is ANGRY with the evil of this world, and is going to put an end to it forever. Even so, the Bible reports that many people will not repent, and simply be destroyed and doomed to Hell.

Finally, in a battle many have dubbed the “battle of Armageddon”, God will destroy the last two great armies that stand against him. Christ is now our king and a wondrous future is before us.

Evil is destroyed. Righteousness reigns forever.

And a new world has been born.

Thank you Jesus for this wonderful amazing plan that none of us deserve to be a part of and only through the cross of Christ is any of this possible for us.

Father in Heaven, truly you are loving, merciful and incredibly mighty beyond anything we can ever understand.
