Why Wait?

Why wait? We live in a society that frequently instills “Make it Happen”, why wait when you can take charge and change the situation. In part; this is absolutely true. Never; should one wait to alter what is in their power to change. 

Henceforth; we attempt to create solutions to make it happen. With all of our inner-might we do our best to hammer down on the ‘thing, the obstruction that is in our way; the hurdles of life that keeps us emotional and physically fit to win the race of life, winning like champions in a long marathon. Overcome, prevail the battle, celebrate, and suit up for the next race, be triumphant toward the finish line until the clock stops ticking, and the waiting is over. Meantime, we stay in the race, and expect to wait, expect obtrusion as a part of the waiting process; The adversarial defense in ‘our game’ that stands in the way to force us to wait; intercept our vision our walk toward destiny; we must proceed forward, and do what we have to do, so we cross over or pass over the barriers design to prolong the waiting process.  This is the stage that we go to war against inner-feelings of frustration produced from waiting. Oh! I yearn waiting is horrible; why wait; I don’t have time to wait; better yet; I’m prepared to wait; but today’s responsibilities and committed obligations has no time to wait, most of what is essential was due like yesterday.

Nevertheless; part of life is waiting while making it happen; waiting is an enemy; waiting is a strategy; notwithstanding the ancient rule of patience that has proven in most cases waiting is necessary. Waiting is incorporated in our daily lives to safe our lives. For instance, when you are driving in a hurry to arrive at a destination; so you are fighting against the clock you approach an untimely traffic light that quickly changed from green to yellow to red; your desire is to speed up; proceed; and you quietly hear a contemplation, a notion that whispers “stop.” Hopefully; you stop; aren’t you glad you stop as you glance another car that had the right away makes that left turn; and had you not stop?  But; you did stop; you sigh in relief that had you proceeded to drive your destination would have been to no prevail for several reasons one the most final; that’s when you view waiting as a friend; the traffic lights apart of the strategy.

 In the midst of waiting; making it happen and patience strikes an uncomfortable balance. First and foremost; waiting is tedious; difficult, leaves you feeling powerless as if there’s nothing you can do. It strikes at the core of self-sufficiency. I hate waiting, and I’m sure I’m in the majority of every living human being on the face of the earth. But; I wonder if waiting is sometimes apart of the strategy. Suppose waiting is a test of strength; an evaluating of your character. Or in some cases; there is someone on the qualifying team evaluating your temperament under the duress of having to wait.

Change your situation, be creative, and view waiting as part of the process why solutions are coming into motion, and know at all times patience is a virtue. Yes! Alter your situation; yes view waiting as a foe in some cases, but embrace also; that waiting can save your life. Waiting is a friend; and in most cases open a door of divine magnificent opportunities because you were mature enough to strike the balance of pursue, patience, and creative ideas while waiting. Why wait? It’s a part of life…
